Actually, we are using css with a setting of display:none on that column. It has not had any adverse effects to my knowledge, and we've had it that way from the beginning. |

It looks like the column visibility feature actually removes the column. It isn't just hiding it. If removing the column causes issues, then what if this particular option just turned the display of the column on and off? Do you know if this preference removes the column altogether for performance? |
