Hi all, new to Koha. Just started digging into ebooks. Installed a windows based platform with Calibre-ebooks. Works great for me, but does not support lending, only web based downloading. Just wondering if Koha could be more practical. Just want an interface that makes it easy for users to download/loan non-DMR ebooks, but with a nice GUI. No big project, just for privat use. Is Koha right, or maybe overkill? Please your advice. |

The web UI xxx:9090 gives acces to book information like "Big" cover image and book description + downloadlink of the CBR file. But I have no user control. Other then that it does the job. So I guess that Koha will give more "user" management. Could be interesting to see how Koha actually removes or disables the eBook after f.ex. 10 days of lending. |
