00:10 |
|
chris |
lemme look |
00:11 |
|
chris |
(not master anyway, i push the translation branch quite a bit for backup purposes) |
00:11 |

chris |
i think master 2 secs ill go update it |

slef |
ok... checking my copy |
00:41 |
|
slef |
seems to work - what's the recommended workflow now? branch per bug? |
00:41 |
|
* slef |
goes to read the wiki |
00:42 |
|
chris |
yeah that works |
00:42 |
|
chris |
branch per bug, then either submit a pull request or patches |
00:42 |
|
chris |
colin will then pull or apply, and send me a pull request if passes qa ok |
00:43 |
|
chris |
and ill pull it into a branch, and then merge it |
00:43 |
|
chris |
for now, ill just pull it into a branch |
00:43 |
|
chris |
will merge it once rel_3_2 is branched |
00:49 |
|
slef |
ok, have created enh_bulkmarcimport because there's actually no bug for that change (I thought there was but I can't find it now) |
00:49 |
|
slef |
I'll look up how to submit a pull request now |
00:50 |
|
chris |

i think we need to ask biblibre how it is meant to work |

jcamins |
Ooh, bug. |
02:25 |
|
jcamins |
In the OPAC, if you add an entire page of results to your shelf, then go to the next page and add all those bibs, it tells you that nothing's been added, but it did, in fact, add the bibs. |
02:28 |
|
jcamins |
Wait, no. |
02:28 |
|
jcamins |
That's not the bug. |
02:29 |
|
jcamins |
Hm. |
02:29 |
|
jcamins |
I don't know what the bug is. |
02:29 |
|
jcamins |
(how's that for an awesome bug report) |
02:29 |
|
jcamins |
*? |
02:29 |
|
chris |
thats pretty normal |
02:30 |
|
chris |
sad but true :) |
02:32 |
|
jcamins |
You know what I would like? A mouse-over record preview. |
02:32 |
|
chris |
in the staff interface? |
02:32 |
|
jcamins |
I was thinking of in the OPAC, but staff interface would work too. |
02:33 |
|
chris |
would have to be a pref for the opac, it could annoy people |
02:33 |
|
jcamins |
Oh, certainly. |
02:33 |
|
jcamins |
And mostly I would keep it turned off. |
02:33 |
|
chris |
so being able to turn it on and off |
02:33 |
|
chris |
like the highlighting |
02:33 |
|
chris |
so a cookie based pref |
02:33 |
|
chris |
might be something fun for the hackfest :) |
02:34 |
|
robin |
we made something that whenever an error was detected, it dumped the entire DOM including all values for everything. That made tracking down where bugs where coming from a lot easier. |
02:34 |
|
jcamins |
But I can definitely see instances when that would be useful. |
02:34 |
|
jcamins |
robin: but how do you detect an error? |
02:35 |
|
robin |
well, in this case, it was when the exception handler caught an otherwise-untrapped exception. |
02:35 |
|
robin |
But if you had a little "report a bug" thing on pages, you could do the same. |
02:35 |
|
jcamins |
Ooh, that would be awesome! |
02:36 |
|
jcamins |
robin++ # for volunteering to implement a "report a bug" widget which includes a DOM capture |
02:36 |
|
robin |
we also had the advantage of access to all the data to test with, which you won't have here. |
02:36 |
|
robin |
haha |
02:36 |
|
robin |
I'll get back to you on that :) |

in nz its GST |
03:17 |
|
ebegin |
here to... |
03:17 |
|
ebegin |
Hmm... Maybe it for Gi S T :) |
03:19 |
|
ebegin |
We actually have 2 taxes here in canada. GST and PST (Provincial Sales Tax). |
03:19 |
|
ebegin |
And the worst is that the GST in computed over the PST. |
03:20 |
|
chris |
ouch! |
03:21 |
|
ebegin |
So, if you but something for 100$, you have 7.5% of PST. And the GST applies on the 100$ + 7.50$ |
03:21 |
|
ebegin |
GST is 5% |
03:21 |

gst is 15 here |

If I add authority links with the BiblioAddsAuthorities option and then run link_bibs_to_authorities.pl, it even deletes the link that were added automatically. |
