Question about match points & indexes -- one of my sites needs to put a local identifier number into the MARC record to use as a match point for later loads. Ordinarily I'd use the 035, but as jdavidb pointed out :-( there are problems with indexing it as a local number. What about the 024? The default index setup shows that as being indexed as Identifier-other (subfield a) or Identifier-standard (whole field). |

I think Paul or HDL said this was fixed with their new acq stuff, but right now even with independent libraries on staff at one library can see the other library's budgets/funds through the Admin screen. Everything should be grouped under acq and managed according to the permissions set. |
