Messages are definitely being sent. My one test today showed very slow message receipt for me but all my other messages might have been slow. However, I was not running anything special on my receiving mail server. |

davidnind: I think that tcohen is reporting that we subsequently worked around the earlier reported problem for the SMTP server and should have been good for a while now. However, maintaining server reputation is tricky as any server can be falsely flagged as bad. My own system should not be interfering much which could explain the issue at the moment if I was flooded today with bad messages and my system had to parse all of them before pars |

davidnind: The text of email generated by MediaWiki should be recorded somewhere in the database and could be found somewhere in a database dump but I do not have access to the SMTP logs and have not found appropriate logs in the Canasta MediaWiki Docker container. There is an extension EmailLogger which we could try to install if we would need it. |
