rangi: we have to deal with refunds, waived, cancelled, no show, etc for tickets. It's painfully complex. And the system we interact with does things in a way I consider weird. Whenever you update a transaction, it reverts the previous ones to write the new ones. It kinda makes sense and is necessary, but it's at that annoying computer world intersecting the real/accounting world boundary. |
