But if you are meaning enter the title as serial (both using the serial framework and explicitly coding it in the leader), I have done that; there does not seem to be any way to enter holdings except in 952 $h and my version does not repeat that subfield, though I have enabled it. |

15:58 |
|
owen |
You create a bib record first in the regular bib editor. Then you attach a subscription to it in Serials. Then you receive issues in Serials and attach items at that time. |
16:01 |
|
reva |
Ok, I will try that. So I can search for the bib record I just created from inside the "new Subscription" and build the pattern and it will attach a new item record for the bib every time I receive the issue and record it, correct? |

Yes. You have to choose "create an item record when receiving this serial" |

Once they've set, I can't forget them. I have a shell acct I use about twice a year, and I couldn't tell you the password, but it comes naturally after typing 'ssh <hostname>' |

i can remeber a sequence seemingly indefnitely IF i am currently staring at somewhere where i would input it |

anywhere else, i wouldn't have a clue |

but just start typing it regardless, and the sequence just comes out, even if i can't remember the first character |
