Hello! I'm noticing that check-out limits per Patron Category/Item Type don't seem to be working as expected. |
22:10 |
|
jalway |
If for example a patron has 10 items of item type Book checked-out and that is the limit for books. |
22:11 |
|
jalway |
They can't then check-out 2 items of item type equipment, even though they should be able to check-out a maximum of 2 of that type. |

well. i did a few changes to run.sh for docker compose -f docker-compose-build.yml up, and got it restart in 8seconds when you ctrl-c, stop the container, and using "up" comes up in 8seconnds, unless you bring it down, removing the containers. |

i also wrote a build-support.yml compose/Docker which when run prior to my modified koha-dpkg-docker, koha-testing-docker, will provide a local apt-cacher-ng apt package proxy. once the 320MB of git packages are pulled from internel urls, subsequent rebuilds use the local caches. with this build-support container running, once can add a -f docker-compose-buildsupport.yml that merges |
22:52 |
|
wajasu |
into the compose file, the things needed so the build uses the http_proxy=http://127.0.0.1:3142 and the network: host. |
22:52 |
|
wajasu |
i was wondering if its worth adding a yarn/npm/gulp cache into that build support container |
22:54 |
|
wajasu |
now my only question is: is it ok for testers to reuse the existing koha_kohadev database between start/stops? |
22:54 |
|
wajasu |
or must it be recreated fresh when the container starts. |
22:55 |
|
wajasu |
i guess a person can use compose down to remove the containers between git patch testing. |

It's best to start with a fresh database when starting KTD, I use reset_all when in the shell so that I don't need to start and stop KTD |
23:04 |
|
wajasu |
ok. reset_all |
23:06 |
|
wajasu |
so i guess i can switch git branches for testing and do reset_all accordingly. i just need to changemy workflow. |
23:09 |
|
davidnind |
Here is my work flow for testing patches using KTD https://gitlab.com/-/snippets/1893788 |
23:10 |

wajasu |
perfect. now i feel confident. |
23:17 |

i had fixed the append_if_absent routine in files/run.sh and put a set +e and set -e around the misc4dev/do_all_you_can_do.pl call, so that if i restart, the error from the pre-existing db doesn't make it fail. after i added the nofile: ulimits to be lower my 1 minute startup delay for rabbitmq-server was gone. so my start/stops were just 8seconds. |
23:49 |
|
wajasu |
davidnind: should i close out my old fix to RESOLVED status for bug 31124, since bug 32465 looks like it rolled out? |

Bug https://bugs.koha-community.or[…]_bug.cgi?id=31124 major, P5 - low, ---, matted-34813, ASSIGNED , koha-remove fails to remove long_tasks queue daemon, so koha-create for same <instance> user fails |

huginn` |
Bug https://bugs.koha-community.or[…]_bug.cgi?id=32465 normal, P5 - low, ---, nick, CLOSED FIXED, koha-worker debian script missing 'queue' in help |
23:52 |

davidnind |
If it was resolved by the other bug, then adding a comment to that effect and closing it off is a good idea! |
23:53 |
|
wajasu |
OK. |
