I tried to install koha on ubuntu 20.04.3 without success. I get to the end but when I try to log on in browser at http://localhost:8000 I get only that apache2 is working. stefan, the intraport setting depends on how you want to access the staff client. If you want to only use a single domain name for everything then you would change it to a non-80 port so Koha can distinguish between opac users and staff users, or you can leave it on 80 and use a separate domain name to access the staff section. |

Ok. There should probably be a system admin involved at some point to keep an eye on things like hardware reliability and making sure backups and updates happen. You *can* get koha up and running individually on a local computer, but it's not a good idea to depend on that kind of installation for production use. (And you shouldn't be required to know how to do all of that.) |

Also, I should mention that I work for one of the companies on that list (Equinox) but any of the companies on that list should also offer hosting, so that they can handle all of the hardware and domain names and ssl certificates, etc. and all you have to worry about is getting your records in there and checking items in and out. |
