Well, it's easy to be responsible with such an awesome QA-er :-D |
09:40 |
|
josef_moravec |
:-[ |
09:41 |
|
AndrewIsh |
Lol, I'm not sure I've ever seen that RFC before, I certainly didn't create it. It seems very arbitrary for us to be randomly renaming object properties |
09:42 |
|
josef_moravec |
it's not randomly, it is going to make a consistancy in api, because db tables are not consistant |
09:42 |
|
AndrewIsh |
Ah, I understand now, the final column is what you're saying they should be called to be consistent with other routes, gotcha! |
09:42 |
|
josef_moravec |
that's it |
09:43 |
|
josef_moravec |
look for example to libraries or patrons api for how it shoul look |
09:43 |
|
AndrewIsh |
OK, well that makes sense then :) I agree that they should be consistent. I'm wondering if this bug is the place to do that, or whether we'd be better to do it as a separate bug that sits at the top of the QA tree, it would be cleaner and would mean no merge pain further up the QA tree ;-) |
09:44 |
|
josef_moravec |
separate bug definitaly |
09:44 |
|
AndrewIsh |
OK, cool, I'll create one now and make it depend on 18589 |
09:44 |
|
josef_moravec |
ok |
09:45 |
|
AndrewIsh |
Thanks for pointing that out, I would never have noticed that :) |
09:45 |
|
josef_moravec |
but we need to make the rfc more complete, for example write down endpoint specific parameters |
09:45 |
|
josef_moravec |
in fact illrequest is only endpoint which is capable to embed some related data |
09:46 |
|
josef_moravec |
so we have to document it and somehow standardize it and then use in more endpoints |
09:47 |
|
AndrewIsh |
Right, OK, makes sense. The RFC is also more detailed than it needs to be too, there's currently only a requirement for a GET route, so the specs for the other routes is currently unecessary. Though, that said, we have an imminent requirement for a POST route. |
09:48 |
|
josef_moravec |
i really have requirement for updating actions too here! |

09:50 |
|
josef_moravec |
But yes, we shold first document what we have, update the specs for consistancy, fix the code and then work on update actions |
09:51 |
|
AndrewIsh |
Yes, well our requirement is to create ILL requests on remote Koha systems using the Koha2Koha backend, currently all it does is create a hold on the remote system |
09:51 |

It will be great enhancement! |

Hi, I'm trying to get the ILL module working and I'm running into some trouble with the API |
15:56 |
|
jmsantos |
Namely, when requests are made with parameters, they fail due to pattern->default->{openapi.op_spec} being undefined |
15:57 |
|
jmsantos |
Am I missing something ? |
15:57 |
|
ashimema |
AndrewIsh: ^ ever seen that |

No, I never have, that's a weird one. What version of Koha? |

16:00 |
|
AndrewIsh |
jmsantos: Fascinating, I've not come across this before. I'll have a quick dig and see if I can see what might be causing it |
16:02 |
|
jmsantos |
Thanks ! If it helps, I've checked what "default" is at that point and what is defined is this : controller, openapi.parameters, action and openapi.path |
16:02 |
|
AndrewIsh |
jmsantos: Thanks :) |
16:02 |

in the authenticate_api_request subroutine in Auth.pm |

AndrewIsh |
jmsantos: Indeed, I'm just looking there now |
16:08 |
|
AndrewIsh |
jmsantos: Do you have the file "api/v1/swagger/paths/illrequests.json"? If so, can you check the permissions on it? |

caroline1: Did you check the SQL library for a report for that? |
16:23 |

16:24 |

AndrewIsh |
I'll just try and find out what versions 18.05 requires |
16:24 |

caroline1 |
oleonard: heading there now |
16:27 |
|
AndrewIsh |
jmsantos: Same, Mojolicious 7.21 and Mojolicious::Plugin::OpenAPI 1.15, though those are minimum versions, so I can see why it's installed what are presumably the latest, but it's conceivable they contain breaking changes |
16:27 |
|
AndrewIsh |
jmsantos: Oh, and JSON::Validator 0.97 |
16:28 |
|
AndrewIsh |
