So, you can't make single mode /var/lock/koha because that directory is not left in a mode where other (non-root) users can write it. Its mode 755 owner root from the koha startup scripts. The per site subdirectories are properly owned. Hence my putting the lockfiles in /var/lock directly with appropriate naming to ensure no collisions. Ditto for standard |
