19:50 lukeg no, really easy actually! The hardest part is processing all the dandelion heads. Its time consuming
19:49 bag that sounds fun! hard to make the dandelion wine?
19:48 lukeg I just tried, for the first time, some dandelion wine I made last spring. It was my first attempt and it tastes OK. Not great but I hope to try again this year :)
19:48 bag ah very cool
19:47 fridolin https://www.chateaudelranq.fr/
19:46 fridolin it is delicious
19:46 fridolin my step sister is doing the 4th year of wine
19:46 fridolin good too
19:46 fridolin ^^
19:46 fridolin arf
19:46 fridolin "du pain, du vin, du fromage"
19:46 bag Italian wine ;)
19:45 fridolin bag: and the wine ?
19:45 fridolin yum yum
19:35 lukeg yum, bag!
19:35 bag And Sonja just made fresh bread :) double score
19:35 bag I just scored some awesome french cheese - but I forget the name of it
19:33 lukeg yay! im good, excited for the release!!
19:29 * fridolin cooking the release ;)
19:29 fridolin lukeg: how are u ?
19:18 lukeg hi frido
18:56 fridolin hi
17:34 oleonard Hi lukeg
17:33 lukeg hi #koha
16:33 reiveune bye
16:15 lilipute1h bye koha
16:06 cait bye #koha
15:51 cait but... we about have that and it looks too small lol
15:51 ashimema 1080 looks nice on my screen.. lol
15:51 cait I think about the width of a letter is usually a good measurement for docs
15:50 ashimema or 1080 even
15:49 ashimema I always felt it seemed a little narrow.. but trying 100% looks weirder so i'd be tempted to set a max width to 1024 or something instead of the default 800
15:49 ashimema I reckon we could afford to put in some media queries there too.. or just set the max width higher
15:49 caroline When I logged in the other day it had a message about limits to CI/CD, does that acffect us you think?
15:48 ashimema gitlab is changing allot of late.. must admit I'm finding it more confusing
15:48 ashimema lol, indeed
15:48 oleonard_ That's doin' it old school :D
15:47 ashimema well.. lets see if that improves things.. haha
15:46 ashimema I just commited straight to the repo without doing merge request somehow
15:46 ashimema the defaults in gitlab changed
15:46 ashimema ho dang..
15:45 cait and we can't do manual line breaks... because translations
15:45 cait well, it's narrow overall
15:44 cait I am not sure why those lines don't even try to wrap
15:44 cait maybe it happened when we switched templates?
15:44 cait ah
15:44 ashimema they're very narrow and require lots of horizonal scrolling to read
15:44 cait what is the ancient thing?
15:44 ashimema hehe
15:44 cait thx
15:44 cait oh!
15:44 ashimema so I linked for you
15:43 ashimema you asked what tables we were talking about
15:43 wahanui rumour has it yes is something different :)
15:43 cait yes?
15:41 ashimema cait
15:41 ashimema https://koha-community.org/manual/latest/en/html/cataloging.html#item-holdings-record-cataloging-guide
15:41 ashimema seems a pretty ancient thing people have been complaining about
15:41 ashimema https://github.com/readthedocs/sphinx_rtd_theme/issues/117
15:41 ashimema if we add that it makes the table content wrap more nicely
15:40 ashimema /* override table width restrictions */... (full message at https://matrix.org/_matrix/media/r0/download/matrix.org/hvfaCxfzhrWbNjuWBZZQDSla)
15:40 cait which tables are we talking about?
15:38 oleonard_ Doing it in sections is probably the right way to go caroline
15:37 caroline I like tables because I like how they organize content, but it's a lot
15:35 caroline same, I just tried it...
15:34 ashimema even at 100% on my widescreen they have horizontal scrollbars
15:34 ashimema wow.. those tables are really wide
15:31 severine_q Bye #koha :D
15:30 severine_q thanks cait ! I need to go, I'll do it tomorrow :)
15:30 cait it needs to be fixed in the Koha templates
15:30 cait if it's a typo in English, you can just file a normal bug
15:28 severine_q but I'm not sure how to report that :/
15:27 severine_q I notice a typo while translating this string https://translate.koha-community.org/fr/22.05/translate/fr-FR-staff-prog.po#unit=22444992
15:26 caroline .wy-nav-content hax a max-width 800px
15:25 caroline We could remove/revert the width limit? On my screen, about half the screen is unused
15:24 caroline I think maybe here? https://gitlab.com/koha-community/koha-manual/-/blob/master/source/css/custom.css
15:21 oleonard_ I don't know how involved that would be
15:21 oleonard_ We could also tweak the CSS, I assume?
15:19 caroline I was thinking of doing the same for 942, but reconsidering it... I think I will go with just sections rather than a table (like the sysprefs(
15:17 caroline I actually wanted some opinions about tables in the manual, e.g. this table https://koha-community.org/manual/latest/en/html/cataloging.html#item-holdings-record-cataloging-guide is very large but the theme cuts it and we have to scroll to the right to get info
15:15 caroline I'm currently adding a section to the manual about this... getting tired of getting the same question over and over
15:15 caroline lol!
15:14 oleonard_ Hi caroline we were just praising your response to the 942$c discussion :)
15:14 caroline back from the dead!
15:14 cait hi caroline :)
15:14 caroline hello!
14:29 cait heh, caroline++ I was to dig up the one I wrote a while ago later :)
14:26 cait i think easier to catch in the morning maybe
14:26 oleonard_    caroline++ # RTFMailingListArchive
13:55 ashimema magnuse around?
13:47 TonyS Getting ready to do that but I was hoping there might be a fix that someone has already found
13:47 oleonard_ Did you file a bug?
13:46 Koha I am having issues with the accouting module
13:45 oleonard_ Koha: why do you ask?
13:43 Koha Anyone else maybe running Koha 21.11.05.000
13:36 liliputech TonyS: let us know the bug number when you filled the bug on bugzilla
13:33 TonyS The full version is 21.11.05.000
13:31 cait it has a third number part, that is important
13:31 cait you can find it on the about page
13:30 cait so others can try an dconfirm, but put the exact 21.11 version
13:30 cait TonyS: I haven't seen anything and have no 21.11 to test :( but I'd say file a bug
13:30 liliputech TonyS: I mostly use master :) (our clients use 21.11)
13:03 ashimema let me take a look liliputech
13:00 TonyS No the version of your Koha
12:58 liliputech TonyS: were you speaking git version? I use the gitea (git.koha-community.org)
12:42 TonyS Needs to be changed by the admin. Which version are you using?
12:42 liliputech normal user
12:41 TonyS Is that password change for the admin or a normal user
12:40 liliputech I'm stuck with the community git, can't reset my password (i don't receive the confirmation email with reset token).
12:38 TonyS In previous version this didn't happen
12:37 TonyS Yes -- I click either of the "pay" buttons and the 500 shows up
12:37 liliputech hi koha
12:35 cait do all the pay options give the error?
12:35 cait I haven't seen any reports yet, but that doesn't have to mean anything
12:30 TonyS Good Morning --- Has anyone had issues with the accounting in Koha to "pay fines" version 21.11 -- I'm getting a 500 error and can't find what is causing it
12:13 cait for a long time it was just an input field
12:13 cait Joubu: not sure when the datepicker was introduced, but it hasn#t been around too long i think (but we are on an old version so..)
11:51 tcohen hola #koha
11:48 Joubu but enkidu said it was working in 19.05
11:47 Joubu oleonard: yes, I think it's coming from bug 29369 that has been pushed to 21.11.00. Or as cait said, it has always been iso-formatted
11:47 Joubu Or as cait said, it has always been iso-formatted
11:46 huginn Bug https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=29369 enhancement, P5 - low, ---, koha-bugs, RESOLVED FIXED, Use Flatpickr in dateaccessioned cataloging plugin
11:46 Joubu Joubu: yes, I think it's coming from bug 29369 that has been pushed to 21.11.00
11:17 oleonard I sure hope so
11:17 cait nerds are cool now, right?
11:17 cait oleonard: maybe you shoudl rebrand :)
11:16 cait because you had to enter it in db format before manually
11:16 cait i think it always displayed the iso one there - not sure if that changed when we got the datepicker
11:15 oleonard Joubu: I see ISO-formatted dates on the add item page in 21.05.x, is that to be expected based on your investigation?
11:13 ashimema unintentional
11:13 ashimema lol
11:13 cait lol
11:12 oleonard That was a good burn though, ashimema ;)
11:12 cait oleonard: yes, was quiet, hope you too :)
11:12 ashimema * hi oleonard
11:11 ashimema hi oleonerd
11:11 oleonard Hi cait, I hope you had a good weekend
11:11 cait hi oleonard :)
11:11 oleonard Hi #koha
09:19 eythian I somewhat agree. The needs of the people wanting koha will be pretty different from the needs of the people running the server, so keeping an old version around may not suit a lot of users (but this is just conjecture, I might be wrong.)
09:18 ashimema I'm not really sure what it wins the community really if I'm honest
09:18 ashimema but yeah.. it was mtj and tcohen who were contemplating submission
09:18 ashimema you poping up has just reminded me of who I was thinking of.. it was Lars
09:17 ashimema no worries eythian
09:17 eythian hi :)
09:17 * cait waves at eythian
09:17 eythian ashimema: I'm a bit late here, but I can't tell you anything useful anyway (re. upstreaming to debian.) My suggestion perhaps would be going through the debian packaging documentation and policy stuff and making sure everything's matching, then I guess finding a debian developer or similar to help work through it. But I'm not really sure.
09:10 enkidu Joubu, we've tested the bug, it seems as it is working. Thanks again.
09:10 huginn Bug https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=27768 normal, P5 - low, ---, koha-bugs, NEW , Saving an item with an invalid dateaccessioned or replacementpricedate throws no helpful error

09:09 m23 cait Thank you for answer.
09:09 cait ah ok, one more (the other was this bug before description changed)
09:08 cait Joubu: ashimema: we have 2 bugs reported about issues with dateaccessioend in 21.11 - could they be duplicates?
09:07 cait m23: i think the files for doanloading are not updated regularly and there is no way I know to download from pootle right now IIRC
08:57 Joubu enkidu: please test it and confirm it's working correctly :)
08:55 huginn Bug https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=30717 major, P5 - low, ---, jonathan.druart+koha, Needs Signoff , Dates displayed in ISO format when editing items
08:55 enkidu Joubu++ Thanks for quick fix for bug 30717
08:53 m23 cait OK, not good for "interactive" translation. We can work with .po directly and later send them to Pootle
08:50 cait m23: the po files are included in every release - they are updated a few days before a release -you should never need to download them manually
08:43 ashimema I have a feeling I wondered why we weren't using that already at some point and then promptly forgot about it's existance
08:42 ashimema nice
08:42 ashimema oh,
08:41 huginn Joubu: The operation succeeded.
08:41 Joubu @later tell tcohen 30718 - a goal for 22.11?

08:22 severine_q Bonjour Koha !
07:50 enkidu thanks
07:50 enkidu yes sure
07:49 Joubu can you open a bug report please?
07:49 enkidu we use dd/mm/yyyy dateformat
07:48 enkidu Yes, it was correct in 19.05
07:48 Joubu was it displayed correctly on 19.05?
07:48 enkidu No, we've upgraged from 19.05 to 21.11.04, I'm trying in that version
07:48 Joubu ha, additem. I see it on master as well
07:47 Joubu did you try on master?
07:46 enkidu joubu: no, it didn't. I even reboot the server!
07:45 Joubu does it change if you restart memcached?
07:44 enkidu In fact the problem occurs in the additem process, dateformat doesn't change even we changed in the systempreference
07:39 huginn Bug https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=30706 normal, P5 - low, ---, oleonard, Passed QA , DateFormat change only takes effect after a restart of services

06:52 alex_ Bonjour
06:47 m23 cait we would like to help our translators and so we plan to create one Koha installation. And I need to see how long it takes us to make the changes made to Pootle visible in that installation.
06:45 m23 cait OK, is here some "schedule" for generating od files?
06:44 cait m23: ^
06:44 cait well, and several other file formats - everythign that has strings for translation
06:44 cait the po files are generated with scripts frrom the Koha branches for each version, parsing the .tt and .js files
06:43 cait Pootle isn#t the software generating the po file, it's more like an editor
06:43 cait what do you want to know?
06:43 cait of course you can ask
06:43 cait hi
