15:40 Shane-S Anyone here from Bywater solutions, or offers on-premises server maintenance and support? If so can we PM/DM?
15:38 Shane-S okay I only had THAT in elementary school doing LegoLogo or something like that where me moved a turtle. I mostly grew up on i86 stuff...but we did have a commador64 @ home
15:37 * oleonard remembers Follet on an old amber-screened PC in the mid-nineties :)
15:36 Shane-S Things "worked", but now she is gone and I am leaving, so trying to give the new people a better experience.
15:35 koha-jenkins Project Koha_20.05_D9_My8 build #41: SUCCESS in 43 min: https://jenkins.koha-community.org/job/Koha_20.05_D9_My8/41/
15:35 Shane-S oleonard: Yeah, I knew we could do that. Lets just say 95% of what Koha can/should do we haven't done. 50% me not learning, 50% the old librarian just being "used" to how she did in an old system that on her OS9 Mac from Follet back in like 2012
15:33 oleonard Shane-S: Note that you can define a specific expiration date by patron category, so you could set the expiration date for students at the start of the term so that they expire at the end.
15:32 Shane-S Often a quick phone call gets the items back, but without that name we can't even call :)
15:32 koha-jenkins Project Koha_20.05_D10 build #47: SUCCESS in 42 min: https://jenkins.koha-community.org/job/Koha_20.05_D10/47/
15:32 Shane-S Then that would be perfect, thank you. I will advise the new staff taking over that should be the process...expire and then remove only if they have been gone 2 years or more.
15:31 oleonard Yes
15:31 Shane-S Can expire date be searched/reported on so that say each year we delete patrons who expired > 2years ago
15:30 Shane-S okay so that would expire the patron but keep the records trail?
15:30 oleonard Expiration date seems like a logical way to do it
15:29 Shane-S as they no longer attend here, I would like to have a way to inactivate/disable instead if possible
15:28 Shane-S they are blank because the patron was removed
15:28 Shane-S yeah, just hard when the say for an electronic item like a Kindle the check out history shows 3 checkouts, but the patrons are all blank
15:27 oleonard And your job is to find the student who has the missing item?
15:26 Shane-S Sorry I should say "Checkout History" for an Biblio where you can see all the items history and use the little search bar to narrow it down to specifics items
15:24 Shane-S So right now a book or electronic device comes up missing, and I go to circulation history to see who has last had it. Because we are a school students are removed by the librarian as soon as they "move" or graduate before she leaves in June. Come July, I now have no names in the circulation checkout history
15:22 oleonard What do you mean by "track items down better?"
15:21 Shane-S Question, what is the best way to inactivate/disable and account but "leave" it so circulation history remains so we can track items down better. Right now patrons are removed and I am left with empty spots in an items circulation history a lot (I don't manage patrons, so pushing for a procedural change)
15:07 reiveune bye
12:51 tcohen push it before the walk LOL
12:46 Joubu going for a walk, see you later #koha
12:45 Joubu ok, thanks
12:45 tcohen I've corrected the dependencies for the plugin hooks
12:44 Joubu Hola Tomas
12:44 Joubu H
12:44 tcohen Joubu buen día

12:42 kidclamp     oleonard++
12:41 oleonard kidclamp, Joubu: What about this? https://zivotdesign.com/p/view.php?p=15959400664957
12:23 oleonard I have to start up ktd again and I can actually look
12:22 oleonard based on the screenshot it looks like it should be an optgroup
12:18 huginn Bug http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=21946 new feature, P5 - low, ---, nick, Failed QA , Group circulation by item type
12:18 kidclamp oleonard: bug 21946 - comment 120 - Joubu points out a space in the optgroup, you think it shoudl be a margin, or is there a css fix?
12:18 tcohen morning
12:17 kidclamp just trying to cleanup the bugs I have in my queue
12:15 oleonard You working on anything fun lately kidclamp?
12:01 wahanui hi oleopard
12:01 kidclamp hi oleonard
11:34 oleonard Hi all
09:20 tuxayo The second one is not related
09:20 tuxayo kohadev user doesn't have the qa alias
09:20 tuxayo https://gitlab.com/koha-community/koha-testing-docker/-/issues/215
09:20 tuxayo missing dependency: qa tools don't work on Debian 10 and Debian 11
09:20 tuxayo Here the issues: https://gitlab.com/koha-community/koha-testing-docker/-/issues/214
09:19 tuxayo Yes, just checked, both my D10 and D11 are
09:19 tuxayo > is it up-to-date?
09:12 Joubu I don't think it's correct
09:12 Joubu #190 removed libtest-perl-critic-progressive-perl
09:12 Joubu maybe my image is not up-to-date actually
09:12 Joubu hum
09:10 Joubu /usr/share/perl5/Test/Perl/Critic/Progressive.pm
09:10 Joubu        $ pmpath Test::Perl::Critic::Progressive
09:10 Joubu I am using D10 and I don't have the problem
09:09 Joubu is it up-to-date?
09:09 tuxayo wait, the koha-testing-docker repo, not the qa tools
09:08 tuxayo I'm make issues in the qa-tools repo
09:08 tuxayo Joubu: works on the Debian 9 image but not Debian 10 or Debian 11
09:03 tuxayo cait2: it's for the qa tools
09:03 tuxayo       Joubu: dep: Test::Perl::Critic::Progressive
09:03 tuxayo Back at the "office"
07:51 cait2 tuxayo: dbic?
07:50 Joubu you should run it from /kohadevbox/koha
07:50 Joubu do you remember which dep?
07:46 tuxayo I'll retry and dig more.
07:46 tuxayo Joubu: hmm, in my case the alias doesn't exists for the instance user and running the tools directly gives me a missing dep error
07:06 cait2 I'll try to get back to it
07:04 Joubu cait2: I've attached a screenshot on 22087 to show what's expected without the last patch
06:55 Joubu tuxayo: I think we are almost all using the qa script from ktd, why are you asking?
06:55 * cait2 waves
06:55 Joubu hi #koha
06:37 wahanui bidet, reiveune
06:37 reiveune hello
