15:37 Shane-S so reading it is suggested to turn off mandatory...but it is also mentioned the auto-calc might not work. I have always relied on Koha to number patrons, anyway to check what value it might use, so I can make sure it will work correctly?

18:39 lavamind basically, apache updates a stamp when a student visits their Koha installation
18:41 lavamind if the student has visited/used Koha in the last 10 minutes, the indexer will check for a lock and the zebraqueue table before doing a koha-rebuild-index if necessary
