19:33 Joubu rangi: it failed!
19:33 oleonard Seems like a problem which must have been solved by someone at some time.
19:33 magnuse have fun, #koha!
19:32 oleonard :)
19:32 Joubu I do not find the patch, so I guess I gave up :)
19:32 Joubu I tried, cannot remember if I gave up or submitted a patch... :-/
19:31 Joubu with plack with need to dev something
19:31 Joubu oleonard: it's handled by apache without plack
19:31 Joubu "Uploading artifacts..."
19:26 oleonard Why is it that with plack disabled a 404 error will load Koha's error page but with plack enabled we get a blank screen with just "not found?"
19:25 nuentoter hmmm this may be something I can work on actually when I get the new server in. i'll be doing a fresh install and import.
19:15 magnuse +1
19:11 rangi and librarians are undoubtedly the best to write that
19:11 rangi 5-15 pages, vs 1000s like the manual... to get you going, then you can look up more in the manual
19:11 magnuse ooh, clever!
19:10 rangi like a tutorial
19:10 magnuse workbooks?
19:10 rangi but a circulation workbook, that just stepped you through setting up your library to circulate and all the stuff related to that
19:10 rangi because the manual is great, if you already mostly know what you are doing
19:10 magnuse excellent!
19:10 rangi then, i really want people to start on doing things like workbooks
19:10 magnuse Joubu++ rangi++ that is so great!
19:09 rangi so I reckon we could have people working on it at the hackfest and see their changes show up as they do it
19:09 * oleonard waves to rangi
19:09 rangi same with updated .po files
19:09 rangi the nice thing is, people can see their changes show up, automatically (well 20 mins or so) after their merge request is merged
19:08 rangi when it si working well, im sure Joubu or I will send an email out
19:08 rangi https://koha-community.org/manual/18.05/en/epub/ etc
19:07 rangi the automatic ones will end up at
19:07 magnuse ePub > pdf, if you ask me
19:07 magnuse but it is not linked to anywhere yet?
19:06 magnuse oops
19:06 wahanui That'll be $1 for the awesome jar, magnuse
19:06 magnuse awesome!
19:06 Joubu now it will be available with a click
19:06 rangi now we just do it automatically
19:06 Joubu it was already possible :)
19:04 magnuse it is lolcat for "is it now possible to obtain the Koha documentation in ePub format?" ;-)

19:00 rangi yup
19:00 magnuse i can haz dox epub?
18:59 Joubu may be trivial but it was easier to pull 3Go of packages to test locally :D
18:59 rangi ahh right
18:58 Joubu no pdf, I do not know how to generate it "lightly", i.e. without the full texlive-ful package
18:58 rangi ill take a look
18:58 Joubu last one should be ok
18:58 Joubu it might be confusing as I did a PR with a old code...
18:54 rangi (well the epub anyway) i should read all my mail
18:54 rangi you already did
18:54 rangi lol
18:54 rangi Joubu: when you have the pdf building well, can you open an issue for getting the ci to build it and paste in the commands you use (or just merge request .gitlab-ci.yml) and ill get that building and deploying automatically too) thanks
18:45 oleonard yeah.
18:44 magnuse letsencrypt all the things!
18:06 nuentoter i understand the problem and was waiting on running the script till i asked around a bit more. For me to run a test environment is a pita so i was curious about the idea of removing the data, and if that would simply make things worse or fix it.
17:51 Joubu nuentoter: if you do not care about the deleted tables, just remove the data from there
17:48 Joubu it *should* work with the biblio and item tables
17:47 huginn Bug http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=19016 major, P5 - low, ---, jonathan.druart, In Discussion , Add a script to fix corrupted data
17:47 Joubu nuentoter: I would suggest to try the script on bug 19016 in a testing env (backup your data!)
17:44 Joubu did you understand the problem?
17:37 nuentoter im getting a new server and will be doing a fresh install in a couple months, which was always the goal, the current setup has been a "let's try it out and see how it works for us" kind of thing that has been working well, just ironing things out before we spent $$ on a new server
17:36 nuentoter a year old, unfortunately have been running it without doing anything to it for 6 months simpyl because of other job duties
17:24 Joubu How old is your install?
17:24 Joubu thousands of duplicates? erk
17:12 nuentoter - Try::Tiny (0.22)" under system info its just the DBMS auto increment fix listed and "You are missing the <template_cache_dir> entry in your koha-conf.xml file. That will bring a performance boost to enable it."
17:12 nuentoter       jk I have thousands of duplicates between biblio and deletedbiblio, and the same for items and deleteditems. memcache is not configured (been putting it off fixing other stuff first) Perl modules that are red are "Test::DBIx::Class (0.42) - Readonly::XS (0.01) - HTTPD::Bench::ApacheBench (0.73) - WebService::ILS (0.07) " Yellow ones are " Exception::Class (1.38) - Sereal::Decoder (3.0) - Test::Exception (0.35)	- Sereal::Encoder (3.0)
17:11 reiveune bye
17:07 cait heh :)
17:07 nuentoter i dont like the about page, its tells me too many ways i screwed up lol.
17:07 cait but yep, what Joubu said, check the about page
17:07 cait deleting the item probably won't remove it I think
17:06 cait nuentoter: you want to remove the duplicate id from old_reserves
16:40 oleonard tuxayo: You should add yourself: https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/IRC_Regulars
15:56 Joubu nuentoter: what says the about page?
15:43 huginn Bug http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=19016 major, P5 - low, ---, jonathan.druart, In Discussion , Add a script to fix corrupted data
15:43 nuentoter reading about bug 19016 now but not sure if any of that will help...
15:42 nuentoter increment fix. new holds work correctly. My only question is, if I simply delete the book that is on hold, and then re-add it to the system with same barcode and all. will it get around this issue or make it worse or....?
15:42 nuentoter ok so I had issues with holds, I followed the instructions from https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/DBMS_auto_increment_fix and it fixd my problems going forward. There is still corrupt data somewhere between reserves and old_reserves somewhere. I went through our system and found there is 1 book on hold still in the system and that 1 item cannot be taken off hold without throwing errors. those errors are what led me to the dbms auto

12:13 kidclamp you could export the record, split it in marcedit, them import again, I think that's the eaisest way
11:50 saa is it now possible to split these items into two records in one go
11:47 saa so that all items are searchable
11:47 saa to easily create new record and dump those remaining items to new record
11:47 saa can u help
11:47 saa wht could be done now
11:43 kidclamp depending on how searchable you need the items to be you can add a record with no items that links to the one with many items
11:42 eythian that still beats 99,999 bytes I guess.
11:42 eythian ah
11:42 huginn Bug 15399: normal, P5 - low, ---, gmcharlt, NEW , MARCXML records larger than 1 MB (1048576 bytes) are not searchable.
11:42 eythian or is it just that it's much larger?
11:42 kidclamp https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=15399
11:42 eythian there shouldn't be with marcxml, should there?
11:41 kidclamp saa - there is a size limit for records in zebra

07:42 reiveune hello
07:12 magnuse ~~~
03:20 rangi probably better to upgrade to stretch, since stretch is the LTS ... rather than enabling people to stay on jessie longer as it wont be supported
03:20 mtompset Have a good day (24 hour period), #koha.
03:19 mtompset Anyways... probably not the best solution, but thought I'd write it down somewhere at least. :)
03:19 mtompset I cpan2deb'd it over the core module and it works quietly now in jessie.
03:18 mtompset I triggered can not dup STDIN warnings in the plack-error log when running a prove -r t
03:17 mtompset If Archive::Extract should be 0.80 (as in Debian stretch) and not 0.72 (as in Debian Jessie), who do I talk to about packaging that up?
