01:23 tcohen Hi, a bit late here, dcook
01:23 dcook np
01:24 dcook It was actually an accident that I typed out your name
01:24 dcook I was trying to use Ctrl+F
01:24 tcohen Ha
01:24 dcook I don't know if it was something you did or not, but Tuvaluan is now on translate.koha-community.org!
01:24 tcohen Nice anyway, hi :-)
01:24 dcook So hurray!
01:24 dcook Hi ^_^
01:24 dcook How are things?
01:25 tcohen I pushed bgk for weeks but he was so busy. Last time I went to his desk he told me it was done
01:25 tcohen Good, tired
01:25 tcohen He
01:25 dcook I hear that!
01:25 tcohen Bye!

07:42 reiveune hello
07:47 alex_a bonjour
07:55 stozza good morning
07:56 stozza issue of the day: after some apt-get upgrade (I guess) the zebra engine wasn't working anymore and I had to restart/reindex. now it is ok but I have another issue: when creating a new user it does not automatically get the user number, that should be generated leaving the field empty. any idea what could be the issue?
07:59 marcelr hi #koha
08:00 josef_moravec hi marcelr
08:01 marcelr o/
08:07 stozza mmm. maybe bugid 18636..
08:24 gaetan_B hello
08:33 maya hi
08:35 maya we have installed koha 17.05 on debian 8 but unable to send mails please help
08:59 maya is anyone there?
09:00 greenjimll Can you send emails from outside koha (eg from the Debian command line)?
09:00 maya no
09:01 greenjimll Ah, then its not a Koha config issue, but one for setting up Debian email. Have a look at https://www.debian.org/releases/stable/i386/ch08s05.html.en
09:03 maya means we need to set, koha-packages not automatically configure the same on installation?
09:06 maya <greenjimll> means we need to set it manually, koha-packages not automatically configure the send emails out - on installation?

09:59 andreashm magnuse: good. I need to do that as well.
10:41 greenjimll maya: You need to set up the mail on your server - I doubt the Koha .deb packages will do that for you.
10:42 oha yo! great news about ILL magnuse!
10:42 magnuse yeah! happydance!
10:43 oha it is indeed a happy news moment!
12:09 oha magnuse: btw, i'm not sure if you saw it, but i posted something on facebook about the rfid scanner i was working on
12:09 oha i bet you might be interested :)

12:57 tcohen morning
12:57 tcohen @seen lari
12:57 huginn tcohen: lari was last seen in #koha 11 weeks, 4 days, 23 hours, 42 minutes, and 35 seconds ago: <lari> probably because it was in the "under" part and maybe it had some trouble loading schema...... no idea :)
12:58 tcohen @seen ashimema
12:58 huginn tcohen: ashimema was last seen in #koha 4 weeks, 0 days, 1 hour, 1 minute, and 35 seconds ago: * ashimema just asked around and colin_c tells me alex is in a room working on it with headphones on to drown out the babies noise ;)
12:59 * ashimema is still alive.. but deep in 'hand over' mode teaching devs how to code for rebus:list so he can make his 'come back to koha in february' deadline.
13:01 archer121 hi, koha is not allowing to check in a particular book.
13:01 archer121 It just says "Unable to Check In" When I try to check in the book from the patron's page
13:01 andreashm hey tcohen
13:02 tcohen hey
13:02 kidclamp do you have more than one branch archer121?
13:03 andreashm tchohen: wanted to wake up an old question I asked last week. any idea why the rest api (for v.17.05) would give the response "Expected integer - got string." for all fields?
13:04 andreashm using 15165, looking at accountlines
13:04 andreashm (I couldn't apply bug 15165 to master, but it works for 17.05)
13:04 huginn 04Bug http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=15165 enhancement, P5 - low, ---, alex.arnaud, Failed QA , REST API routes to list, edit and pay borrower's accountlines
13:05 andreashm tcohen: could it be changes in Swagger?
13:07 andreashm tcohen: asking, since you seem to be them one who knows the rest api best at this point. =)
13:11 archer121 kidclamp: Oh, so sorry. It was because the library was not set. I'll come to the original problem I am trying to solve. This particular book, I check in, it says checked in, and when I refresh the page, it's back in the patron's account.
13:11 archer121 any idea how to fix this?
13:14 kidclamp what version archer121?
13:14 archer121 16.05.14.000
13:16 kidclamp my guess would be your are seeing this: https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/DBMS_auto_increment_fix
13:58 fridolin kidclamp: got your message, i'm gooing to look at all major bugs
13:58 kidclamp      fridolin++
13:59 kidclamp we are upgrading to 17.05 so may ping you on any other big ones we hit
14:04 fridolin kidclamp: yep, mail me please it is better for this i think

14:25 maya hi
14:25 maya do we need to remove repository and gpg keys after koha common installation?
14:26 maya is anyone there?
14:27 magnuse maya: no, you shoould keep them
14:28 magnuse it makes it easier to upgrade
14:28 maya is apt-get update command interefere with koha packages or any possibility of error in functioning if we keepkeys and repo there?
14:29 maya magnuse < is apt-get update command interefere with koha packages or any possibility of error in functioning if we keepkeys and repo there?
14:31 maya thank you :-) manuse - maya
15:05 edveal After upgrading to High Siera for Mac my kohadevbox is not working. I am getting a 403 Forbidden error when I go to the staff or opace sites. Any suggestions?
16:00 reiveune bye
16:47 tcohen @later tell andreashm I'm sure is related to the Swagger2 > OpenAPI move
16:47 huginn tcohen: The operation succeeded.

21:15 maya having error again restarting vps solves problem , koha 17.05 and debian 8.9.
21:15 maya please help
21:15 wizzyrea usually a sudo service mysql start would fix that
21:23 maya DBIx::Class::Storage::DBI::catch {...} (): DBI Connection failed: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2) at /usr/share/perl5/DBIx/Class/Storage/DBI.pm line 1490. at /usr/share/koha/lib/Koha/Database.pm line 100 Compilation failed in require at /usr/share/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/mainpage.pl line 31. 21:23 wizzyrea yeah, that means your database isn't running
21:23 wizzyrea and if it's not starting, you need to find out why
21:24 maya we frequently face this , is upgrading vps ram and cpu would solve?
21:24 wizzyrea mmm you'd be better off finding out why it's not working
21:24 wizzyrea and then if the reason is "it's going out of memory" then yes, upping memory might fix that
21:27 maya wizzyrea - ok can you suggest some ways so we can find what is wrong?
21:27 wizzyrea syslog might tell you something
21:27 wizzyrea mysql might have logs
