07:11 drojf guten tag BüchereiKlara
07:12 LibraryClaire hi drojf
07:43 Radius_CZ Good morning all! I'd like to know an opinion concerning one small issue in acquisition when searching for orders.
07:50 Joubu Hi #koha
07:51 Radius_CZ I'd like to ask anybody to open Acquisitions, then click on "Orders search" tab at the top of the page. Fill-in any book title you have already received through acq. Result is displayed on page /cgi-bin/koha/acqui/histsearch.pl and it says that Quantity received = 1, Pending order = 1. Looking into the code I found [% order.quantity %] is displayed, but I would prefer % order.quantity - order.quantityreceived %] to be perfectly correct. Do you agree with
07:51 Joubu Radius_CZ: no :)
07:52 Radius_CZ well… :-)
07:52 Joubu this quantity value is displayed everywhere in the acq module
07:52 Radius_CZ could you please explain it to me? because one librarian asked me
07:52 Radius_CZ so is the column description right?
07:52 Joubu you can add another field if you want to dislplay the number of received items
07:53 Radius_CZ nono… quantity recevied is OK.
07:53 Joubu ok, let me create some acq stuffs
07:53 Radius_CZ I think that Pending order is not number od pending orders, in fact.
07:55 Radius_CZ Maybe renaming the column from "Pending order" to "Order size" or something similar would be enough
07:56 Joubu sorry a bit long, my DB was completely empty...
07:56 Radius_CZ never mind
07:56 wahanui Good, I'm glad you figured it out. I didn't understand, and probably never will, being a bot.
07:58 Joubu Radius_CZ: yes, you may be right actually
08:00 Radius_CZ glad to read this ;-) Then I will file a bug, assign myself and I'll fix it. What would you prefer? To change the column description or to change the result itself?
08:01 Joubu Radius_CZ: Sorry, I did not get the question. Now that I get it, it makes sense to rename the column's header
08:01 Joubu I'd check on other pages what is displayed
08:01 Joubu but I think it's quantity and quantity received (the values in DB)
08:02 Radius_CZ I agree with you, the renaming makes perfect sense.
08:02 Joubu so I'd change the column's header
08:02 Radius_CZ of course the other option is another way to fix it. We can let it "Pending" and to display quantity minus quantityreceived
08:02 Radius_CZ OK.
08:03 Joubu Radius_CZ: let me know the bug number, I will cc a librarian who knows very well the acq module
08:04 Radius_CZ Give me a minute to file it. Thanks.

08:12 huginn 04Bug 17611: enhancement, P5 - low, ---, rbit, ASSIGNED , Searching for orders uses misleading column name "Pending order"
08:15 Joubu ashimema: about bug 17600, any ideas how we could automagically generate the imports?

08:19 Joubu Guys, same as yesterday: bug 17522 is blocker for the release. There are patches and 4 dependencies, we need testers!
08:19 huginn 04Bug http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=17522 blocker, P5 - low, ---, jonathan.druart, Needs Signoff , opac-user.pl gives error of OpacRenewalAllowed is enabled
08:37 LibraryClaire I can try and look tonight maybe, but I need a new server so can't test remote atm
10:34 drojf test
11:13 eythian drojf: 7.5/10, try harder next time
11:13 eythian @wunder jordaan, ams
11:13 huginn eythian: The current temperature in Ten Kateplein, Amsterdam, Netherlands is 7.0°C (12:09 PM CET on November 11, 2016). Conditions: Partly Cloudy. Humidity: 76%. Dew Point: 3.0°C. Windchill: 6.0°C. Pressure: 30.15 in 1021 hPa (Rising).
11:13 eythian @later tell dcook well, it was an attempt. But I did see them last night and it was good.
11:13 huginn eythian: The operation succeeded.
11:14 drojf eythian: actually it was a 10/10 because setting ignore for Mike-CSPL also ignores the join/part messages
11:14 eythian ah nice
11:14 eythian @seen Mike-CSPL
11:14 huginn eythian: I have not seen Mike-CSPL.
11:36 Joubu /kick Mike-CSPL?
11:43 eythian Joubu: well, it'd need to be a kickban
11:43 eythian probably
11:43 eythian drojf: could test this
11:47 drojf eythian Joubu: i asked yesterday what people think about banning. then kidclamp_away called Mike-CSPL and it stopped
11:47 eythian well, maybe it doesn't autoreconnect after a kick is my thinking.
11:47 eythian some clients do, some done
11:47 eythian don't
11:47 drojf it does after every timeout
11:47 drojf so i guess it will
11:48 eythian         timeout != kick
11:48 eythian my point is, it's fast to test
11:52 drojf have fun :P
11:54 liw test suite speed is important, because if tests take more then a few seconds to run, you run them seldom, and that makes it harder to find bugs, becuase you've made many changes since the previous test run
11:54 liw <--- perennially off-topic
11:55 eythian liw: well, fast local ones and slow ones running under CI seems OK to me
11:55 liw eythian, sure, as long as the fast ones give you enough confidence the wholw thing works
12:00 rsantellan good morning #koha
12:22 dersmon hi! what is the best way to report/export information from koha about record deletes?
12:23 tcohen hoola
12:23 tcohen dersmon: probably the statistics table
12:24 dersmon i can retreive updated/inserted records best using export.pl, i suppose?
12:24 dersmon ok, i will have a look at it
12:24 dersmon thanks
12:29 LibraryClaire hi tcohen
12:29 tcohen hi LibraryClaire
12:31 magnuse hiya tcohen
12:31 tcohen hi magnuse how are you doing?
12:32 magnuse tcohen: good! slowly settling into our new home :-)
12:32 tcohen YAY!
12:32 tcohen for us, it will happen in December!
12:33 LibraryClaire tomorrow I get my new flat :D (though not bought, or self built or anything...)
12:34 drojf have a nice weekend #koha
12:43 Joubu liw: was it related to a previous discussion?
12:44 eythian oh man, drojf has left. I want to be able to tell him I told him so.
12:51 rsantellan Hi I have a question about GoogleJackets, I'm reading the docs and it says that all other cover services should be turned off. That includes also LocalCoverImages ?
12:57 Joubu rsantellan: try & see :)
12:58 Joubu but I don't think so
12:58 Joubu iirc both will be displayed
13:01 rsantellan joubu: jajaja alright! I will try and see :)
13:06 magnuse LibraryClaire: we have not built the house, but we have bought it :-)
13:11 * LibraryClaire can only dream of owning a house one day
13:11 LibraryClaire magnuse: but for now I'm excited to have my own place :D
13:12 magnuse that does sound rather nice, yes
13:13 LibraryClaire *squee*
13:21 m23 Hi, can I ask somebody abou kohadevbox on Mac?
13:21 m23 about :-)
13:24 m23 If I start Vagrant (vagrant up) a get error: The box 'debian/jessie64' could not be found or
13:24 m23 could not be accessed in the remote catalog. If this is a private
13:24 m23 box on HashiCorp's Atlas, please verify you're logged in via
13:24 m23 `vagrant login`. Also, please double-check the name. The expanded
13:24 m23 URL and error message are shown below:
13:24 m23 URL: ["https://atlas.hashicorp.com/debian/jessie64"]
13:24 m23 Error:
13:35 rsantellan one question when using plack, on changes of the system preference should I restart? or when are the changes taken?
13:52 Joubu m23: I don't think we have worked out making kohadevbox works on macos
13:52 Joubu rsantellan: instantly. You don't need to restard anything
13:56 dersmon tcohen: the statistics table seems to be mostly concerned with circulation. how can I use it to view deleted records (bilbiographic/authority...)?
13:57 m23 Joubu: it works … on my Mabook its ok, but on my desktop dont….
13:58 m23 Joubu: usage of Vagrant and Virtualbox make it multiplatform
13:58 rsantellan Joubu: thanks
14:00 Joubu m23: you should try and add a box, with vagrant add box or something
14:13 m23 Joubu: vagrant up should install box
14:14 Joubu should, but it does not
14:59 tcohen m23: you need to upgrade vagrant to 1.8.7
14:59 tcohen that's a known bug in 1.81
14:59 tcohen they changed something on the service, and upgraded the CLI tool to match it
15:00 m23 tcohen: thx, ill try
15:01 tcohen u r welcome
15:06 m23 tcohen: upgraded, but still err
15:09 tcohen ah
15:09 tcohen bummer
15:09 tcohen i forgot one step
15:09 tcohen sudo rm /opt/vagrant/embedded/bin/curl
15:09 tcohen run that, and it would be fixed
15:09 tcohen m23 ^^

15:15 m23 tcohen: thank You for great help, i was stuck on it many hours
15:16 tcohen :-D
15:17 m23 tcohen: SKIP_WEBINSTALLER=1 CREATE_ADMIN_USER=1 vagrant up must be set?
