23:57 mtompset How does one flow from one to the other?
23:56 mtompset What's the difference between debian/control and debian/control.in?
23:56 mtompset mirko's patch only touched the .in file
23:56 huginn 04Bug http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=17121 normal, P5 - low, ---, mirko, Needs Signoff , debian/control.in update: change maintainer for 3.22.x
23:56 mtompset I have a packaging question related to bug 17121
23:56 mtompset Greetings, #koha.
23:12 wahanui I watch you sleep.
23:12 wizzyrea good night
23:11 CrispyBran Good night, Koha-ners!
23:11 CrispyBran I was just curious if I was missing something right under my nose. Yet another enhancement to ask for. :)
23:10 CrispyBran But I suppose you have to run a report just to see that info.
23:02 wizzyrea CrispyBran ^
23:01 wizzyrea I am making a spectacular assumption that it gets one when the modification is submitted, and updated when something is done with the request
23:00 wizzyrea borrower_modifications has a timestamp
22:59 wizzyrea hm
22:30 CrispyBran Anyone know if there is a way to determine how long a patron update request was submitted?
21:29 wizzyrea oh you're not here later then.
21:29 wizzyrea mtompset did you need something?
19:32 mtompset Have a great day, #koha.
18:47 drojf ok got to leave the wifi. good night #koha
18:46 drojf lol
18:46 drojf i wish it was that much
18:44 mtompset I'll blame the wine. :P
18:44 drojf or, my fingers do
18:44 mtompset let's see... I haven't tried to build in a while.. let's see. :)
18:44 drojf sorry phone screws up the letters
18:43 drojf mtompset: mtthat would be a good start :)
18:42 mtompset drojf: You need a sign off on that?
18:40 wahanui somebody said testing was fun! or easier when you have a test plan. Hint hint.
18:40 mtompset oh... testing.
18:40 mtompset trsting?
18:39 mtompset pbuilder is wheezy! Woo hoo! I nailed it.
18:38 drojf it is one of two patches i Apply to nightly 3.22 that are missing. 16.05 happened fast for the same
18:36 drojf i took too long to answer the last auestion there,so i will do one 3.22 package without it. but i won't do anotherbefore this is pushed
18:35 huginn 04Bug http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=17121 normal, P5 - low, ---, mirko, Needs Signoff , debian/control.in update: change maintainer for 3.22.x
18:35 drojf bug 17121
18:31 cait true
18:30 drojf irc on phone is a bit tedious
18:29 drojf oh he left
18:29 drojf tcohen: the vm is trsting, the pbuilder is wheezy. it will be jessie from november on. nightly madter is built on jessie, 16.05 and 3.22 on wheezy
18:27 mtompset But yes, 2.4 is better.
18:27 mtompset For all its warts, it was okay.
18:27 mtompset *sniff sniff* I loved that old version.
18:22 tcohen apache 2.2 booooo
18:22 tcohen it is
18:21 mtompset *chanting* full git install, wheezy! wheezy! ;) -- wait, support for that is obsolete not, right? :(
18:11 tcohen hey, where are you building them? jessie box?
18:11 tcohen you do hehe
18:06 drojf yes. yes i do! i did koha packages on the plane, i deserve cookies
18:05 cait do you deserve them? :)
18:05 drojf cait: did you get cookies for me? :3
17:52 drojf to me
17:52 drojf lol. the waitress started to speak english toe after english speaking folks got the table next to me
17:29 drojf i think they have those here :p
17:27 cait ;)
17:26 cait no more gluten free cookies for you
17:26 cait mean drojf
17:25 drojf curiosity killed the cait, isn't that what they say? :p
17:23 cait drojf: when are you going to reveal whom you train? :)
17:21 drojf heh i will be preparing training afterthat unfortunately
17:20 tcohen cait: thanks, i'll appreciate that
17:20 tcohen we need you full fledged
17:20 tcohen lets get a glass of wine, and come back
17:19 drojf i would have claimed we do. but if you put it that way...
17:19 cait I don't think i have a current summary, but can try to suggest something
17:19 cait tcohen: saw your email - had no time to answer yet
17:19 tcohen being done
17:19 tcohen and I cannot find it
17:19 tcohen should be done
17:18 tcohen because stopping and starting in postinst
17:18 tcohen do u know if we are stopping the koha-common service on upgrade?
17:18 drojf i must warn you that i am in a restaurant in vienna and starting wine now ;)
17:17 tcohen he
17:17 tcohen a couple
17:17 tcohen i have a question for you
17:17 tcohen hey drojf
17:16 drojf evening
17:07 tcohen hi mtompset
17:04 mtompset Greetings, tcohen.
17:03 mtompset I find {at}seen very handy for that question. :)
16:53 tcohen eythian: around?
16:41 tcohen hi
15:40 mtompset No promises when I'll test, but thought I would eyeball it. :)
15:27 oleonard Thanks for looking at it
15:26 mtompset Thank you. :)
15:25 mtompset Cool. That clears that up. :)
15:25 mtompset Okay.
15:25 mtompset Ah, right arrow icons.
15:25 oleonard There is no other menu (currently) which uses the arrow icons
15:24 mtompset Or perhaps leave that for a cleanup bug elsewhere?
15:24 mtompset Are we sure it isn't useful at a global level?
15:24 mtompset Okay... because haven't we been moving things to nice drop downs across the board?
15:23 oleonard If something appears to be required only for that page, I'll put it inline. If it seems like it will be useful elsewhere I'll put it in staff-global.css
15:21 mtompset Why not a CSS file?
15:18 mtompset Why the style block in the template file?
15:17 oleonard Yup
15:17 huginn 04Bug http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=16421 enhancement, P5 - low, ---, oleonard, Needs Signoff , Move hold edit actions into dropdown menu
15:17 mtompset oleonard: Can I ask you a question about bug 16421?
15:01 huginn mtompset: wizzyrea was last seen in #koha 16 hours, 37 minutes, and 22 seconds ago: <wizzyrea> cait: hehe
15:01 mtompset @seen wizzyrea
15:01 mtompset Very well planned.
15:01 mtompset oleonard: That they were. :)
15:00 reiveune bye
14:58 oleonard Those are informative last words.
14:58 mtompset That would do it.

14:30 cait i think a similar question we need to solve for the swagger files
14:30 cait I am thinking about sandboxes and testers with kohadevbox... and qa and rm... who builds and what is in the git repository
14:30 cait the problem we have with less now
14:29 cait i think the built files will conflict
14:29 cait I am a bit worried how a build process would affect testing
14:29 cait but would be good to keep an eye on
14:29 cait it was easy to solve in the end
14:29 cait i think we had problem with the ajax circ in some cases at the begining
14:27 oleonard But if there are accessibility issues we need to be addressed, they should be addressed in the process of adding anything new like React.
14:27 oleonard Thanks cait. I'm not aware of anything about React that would be an accessibility issue any more than our current use of JavaScript is or isn't.
14:25 cait accessibility comes to my mind
14:25 cait i'd like to add 2 points to your email - will try to anser later
14:25 cait        oleonard++
14:12 rsantellan Good morning! Is there any way to know how many biblios has zebra indexed?
13:28 magnuse mmm cake

12:00 liw why am I thinking of cake?

11:58 oleonard Although I'm getting tired of the "We're going to do great things with Koha as soon as you all fix the way Koha works" line too.

11:58 drojf trolls trolling trolls
11:57 cait ah, that one

11:55 wahanui well, which one is t?
11:55 cait which one?
11:54 * oleonard pleads with everyone not to feed trolls on the devel list
11:49 cait hi oleonard :)
11:49 oleonard Hi #koha

09:43 eythian hmm, lunch. That's starting to sound like a good idea.
09:39 rkrimme1 or, soon at lunch
09:39 rkrimme1 Probably working ;)
09:36 eythian this place is usually full of Germans at this time of day, I don't know where they all are.
09:31 Max oh nice .. i am from pakistan though
09:30 rkrimme1 Germany
09:29 Max where are you from though ?
09:29 rkrimme1 I guess thats fine.
09:28 Max and i have worked with children's and teenagers my whole life ..so excuse my sudden excitement on anything at any time :P
09:26 Max and today i found after almost one year that there is a chat room for koha users ..or as you said admins
09:26 rkrimme1 i just know aleph, pica and koha
09:26 Max so they just showed the basics and told me to work with that
09:25 Max and now i started with koha
09:25 Max i changed job a few times and all of them had different systems so i worked on sirsi for almost 3 years
09:24 rkrimme1 sure.
09:24 rkrimme1 ah yeah, sure.
09:24 Max i am a newbie so just pretend you are :P
09:23 rkrimme1 (not yet ;))
09:23 Max its an honor to meet a koha admin
09:21 rkrimme1 I'm an aleph administrator, but i try to get rid of it and offer a koha service
09:21 Max cause i only started using koha for circulation and cataloging only
09:20 Max ohh ...ohhh i must be in the wrong room then .. no wonder i didn't understood half of the chat in here
09:19 rkrimme1 but i'm also new, so, who knows.
09:19 rkrimme1 i'd rather say here are more koha devs and administrators
09:19 Max mostly librarians i presume
09:18 rkrimme1 "our kind of people"
09:18 Max there is actually a chatroom for our kind of people
09:17 Max OH MY GOD .. this is real
08:20 rkrimme1 but thanks for the answer :)
08:16 rkrimme1 since I just started with koha this may be too much of internal knowledge i'd be missing
08:16 rkrimme1 hehe
08:15 eythian yes, it wouldn't be small, but could perhaps be done programmatically if someone was that keen...
08:15 rkrimme1 since every generated url would have to prepended
08:14 rkrimme1 i guess that would require a very large patch
08:10 eythian I imagine people would be happy if you felt like making patches to change that :)
08:09 eythian rkrimme1: koha requires separate domains or ports. Internal links assume absoluteness.
07:53 rkrimme1 What I mean, it would be awesome, if there was a config option that prepends X in front of all paths after the domain.
07:45 rkrimme1 Please ask if this was totally gibberish :D
07:44 rkrimme1 Hi, im trying spawn koha instances dynamically with docker and want to use ssl offloading with a reverse proxy. Now does koha require subdomains and cannot work in directories of one domain (e.g. koha.domain.tld/instance instead of instance.domain.tld). Do you see any way to do this?
07:20 gaetan_B hello
07:03 reiveune hello
