08:57 paxed problem is we have lots of older migrated bibs with all-caps data (eg. SHAKESPREARE, WILLIAM), and it doesn't seem to link to the correct Shakespeare, William auth.... and i don't see any case-sensitivity options in the linker code.

15:20 drojf misilot: now that it is running, i hope none. but it took some time setting it up and figuring out what versions of dspace, tomcat, openjdk and maven actually work together
15:23 misilot drojf: ah that fun part of setting up :) I have been running Dspace 4.0 since just after release with Tomcat 7.0.52, maven 3.1.1, ant 1.8.4, and openjdk7 on rhel6 without issues
15:26 drojf misilot: yep, on debian i have dspace 4.2 now, it requires tomcat 7 (same version as yours due to the memory leak bug). maven 3.0.x only works with openjdk6 (i think 3.0 was the latest in debian) for me, openjdk7 seems to require 3.2 (or apparently 3.1 accourding to your setup)

15:31 drojf the tomcat 7 requirement was in there. but it did not work for me in the beginning, so i tried tomcat6 and jetty too. i think the combination of maven and openjdk versions was the hardest to find out
