21:41 cait yeah :) i see now why

21:39 drnoe I went back again and searched for : p in all of zebra's docs and found (in http://www.indexdata.com/zebra/doc/zebra.pdf) "10.2 Charmap Files." Nice table. I was looking for "index name" and all kinds of not helpful stuff

21:12 jcamins I knew we had to have a bot that did that. :D

21:11 jcamins Well, there's also Zebra documentation, somewhere.
21:10 jcamins Hm.
21:10 wahanui well, zebra is a fielded free text indexing and retrieval engine with a Z39.50 front-end. You can use any compatible, commercial, or freeware Z39.50 client to access data stored in Zebra. or the search engine koha uses
21:10 jcamins zebra?
21:10 drnoe thanks jcamins, wahanui. I have been through that article and have not been able to glean the meaning of [indexname]:[letter] I am sort of guessing that : p is somehow phrase. not sure about:w, though it seems most used. The indexing article has examples from record.abs without trailing [index]:[letter]. biblio-zebra-indexdefs.xsl seems to use that format for every index.
20:59 wahanui understanding zebra indexing is http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Understanding_Zebra_indexing
20:59 jcamins understanding zebra indexing?

20:56 drnoe crap
20:56 drnoe hello #koha. I have more indexing questions. What are the differences between the different types of index names (*:w , *: p , etc. ) used in biblio-zebra-indexdefs.xsl? example: <z:index name="Author:w Author:p Corporate-name:w Name:w"> (<target_index>Author:w</target_index> <target_index>Author:p</target_index> in biblio-koha-indexdefs.xml)

19:42 rangi maybe we can do some workshops on db testing at kohacon
19:42 rangi i wont halt it because its not using transactions, but for ones where we need to create some data to test with and then be sure its all gone at the end they work pretty well
19:41 rangi ahh well thats good too
19:41 jcamins Well, some, anyway.
19:41 huginn 04Bug http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=10403 enhancement, P5 - low, ---, jcamins, Needs Signoff , Add ability to set fund/budget on receipt
19:41 jcamins Hm. In my follow-up on bug 10403 I actually test all the delete methods.
19:41 rangi you dont end up wiht undeleted stuff
19:40 rangi and if it fails in the middle
19:40 rangi then you dont need to do all the deleting at the end
19:40 rangi yep
19:40 jcamins I guess it's pretty easy to use a transaction, though, isn't it? Start a transaction at the beginning, then roll back.

19:28 jcamins I can make an a.submit tag look like button.submit.
19:28 oleonard Finish my new theme and make the other ones go away?
19:28 rangi oleonard: there's an easy way to fix that
19:28 jcamins Ah-ha! I figured it out!
19:27 nengard hmmm ... well it's not that (the js or the colors.css)
19:27 oleonard It's ridiculous that the ccsr theme requires opaccolorstylesheet to be set to a specific value.
19:26 nengard let me pull more of our js out
19:26 nengard okay
19:26 nengard hmmm
19:26 oleonard nengard: But it's a problem that doesn't affect master as far as I can tell
19:22 nengard that's not one of ours then
19:21 oleonard Firebug reports a problem with the jqTransform plugin, but I don't know what causes it
19:20 nengard is it more bad code of ours or a bug?
19:20 nengard also - oleonard do you know what might be causing the search bar at the top to lose the pulldowns: http://model.bywatersolutions.com/cgi-bin/koha/opac-detail.pl?biblionumber=94756&query_desc=kw%2Cwrdl%3A%20open%20library
19:20 nengard when selected
19:20 nengard but in master the tabs in the holding table aren't highlighted
19:19 nengard now - i need to see if there is a bug for this
19:19 nengard :)
19:19 oleonard well done nengard
19:18 jcamins Ooh! I figured it out!
19:18 oleonard We could certainly say "All new or changed pages should use a default Bootstrap style for all buttons." Not sure how others feel about it.
19:17 nengard http://model.bywatersolutions.com/cgi-bin/koha/opac-search.pl?idx=kw&q=world&limit=itype:EBK
19:17 oleonard What I mean by plan is a plan for whether to or how to convert styling of other buttons in Koha to Bootstrap
19:15 jcamins Well, argument pro would be that there is apparently no way to style a link like a button at present.
19:14 nengard_phone oh wait .. think i found it
19:13 oleonard We simply have no plan in place for it, or arguments made pro or con
19:12 jcamins oleonard: and we don't want to use Bootstrap-style buttons for this sort of action button?
19:10 oleonard I only recall the reverse: styling a button to look like a link.
19:09 jcamins I feel like we must, but I'm having trouble finding it.
19:09 jcamins oleonard: do we have a style that can make an <a> link look like a submit button?
19:08 nengard_phone can you look again when you get a chance
19:08 nengard_phone oleonard, okay i fixed the error, but the ebook stuff still is a little screwy
18:56 jcamins Makes sense.
18:56 gmcharlt jcamins: OK. I'll target a fix for 10503 for stable series, and we'll see if we can get more Koha::Cache usage in place for 3.14
18:54 jcamins gmcharlt: nope. That was one of those things I was hoping to one day have time for, but that never happened.
18:53 gmcharlt jcamins: indeed; do you have any followups for 8089 in your queue, or do you think it's ready for another look now?
18:51 cait jcamins: aaah, that was it :)
18:51 bag cool let's see if we can't talk for a bit - I'll try and stop by your booth
18:50 bag yes yes I am
18:50 gmcharlt bag: yep. you?
18:50 bag gmcharlt: you going to chicago?
18:50 oleonard Jackie Chan?
18:50 gmcharlt bag: at your age, if you don't know already ... ;)
18:50 jcamins Jean Valjean?!?
18:50 bag :P
18:49 bag whoami
18:49 jcamins       Koha::Cache is more invalidation-friendly.
18:49 cait the caching code is a bit over my head currently
18:48 cait aren't we using something else than memoize::memcached already ..somewhere?
18:48 cait ah
18:47 huginn        04Bug http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=10503 normal, P5 - low, ---, gmcharlt, NEW , incorrect initialization parameters passed Memoize::Memcached
18:47 gmcharlt cait: bug 10503 is also relevant
18:46 * jcamins can definitely do that.
18:45 jcamins Okay.
18:44 oleonard You could also follow the pattern set by the lists interface and put the merge button at the bottom of the list of invoices
18:42 jcamins I suppose I could just add a "Merge" link in the actions cell, and a "Remove" link to the merge table.
18:41 cait is it very hard to do?
18:41 cait gmcharlt: ah, I see
18:41 oleonard The search results tools are one example
18:40 oleonard jcamins: We don't have a really well established practice that spans many types of actions
18:39 gmcharlt this is a work around; longer term fix would be to either stop using Memoize::Memcached for GetMarcStructure or make sure cached framework gets invalidated whenver the MARC frameworks are edited
18:39 jcamins Where do we put that control?
18:39 jcamins Oh?
18:39 oleonard jcamins: Generally speaking we don't put a control related to selected items into a toolbar
18:38 gmcharlt cait: scratching an itch; I needecd a way to purge cached MARC frameworks without bouncing memcached (and thereby also purging current auth sessions)
18:38 jcamins oleonard: the idea is you check the boxes on the invoices you want to merge, click the merge button, it brings up the merge dialog at the top, you choose one to merge, and then click the "Merge" button to merge them and view your nice new merged invoice.
18:37 cait what's the story? :)
18:37 cait gmcharlt: that looks like an interesting bug
18:36 cait hi gmcharlt :)
18:34 nengard oh okay that i can disable - phone back in a sec
18:34 oleonard nengard: Something about a cycle plugin
18:34 gmcharlt Happy Monday! - http://git.koha-community.org/gitweb/?p=contrib/global.git;a=commitdiff;h=cbc308fa32093689bfd1516dd418d3a441304cf7
18:34 oleonard jcamins: It's very hard for me to understand the workflow from that screenshot
18:33 nengard you know what those are? I didn't do the JS so I'm kind of lost on this and wanted to make it pretty for ala
18:32 oleonard Hard to tell nengard since your demo page has unrelated JS errors
18:27 pastebot "nengard" at 127.0.0.1 pasted "oleonard, i tried to follow your post (http://www.myacpl.org/koha/?p=) on how to change ebook links to icons - but i screwed up somewhere - got a sec to look" (69 lines) at http://paste.koha-community.org/82
18:10 jcamins I'm thinking I should figure out how to center it, improve the padding on the Save button, and give it a heading.
18:09 jcamins oleonard: any suggestions how to style this: http://screencast.com/t/DoDdDXKOvbT
18:08 tcohen bye #koha
18:06 tcohen i hardly wrote python ever
18:06 tcohen heh, i wish i had fixed it
18:05 jcamins I had figured you fixed it since you didn't mention it for a while.
18:05 jcamins You mentioned it being broken before, too.
18:05 jcamins Oh, it definitely used to be broken.
18:04 tcohen don't remember last time we uploaded zebra char mappings with non ascii data
18:04 tcohen maybe it was broken since the begining
18:03 jcamins Every patch that was in slef's branch is also in fishsoup, so you must have had an additional patch.
18:01 tcohen i attached the patch the old way jcamins, it wasnt that important anyway
17:50 tcohen ok jcamins
17:48 jcamins In that case, apply whatever patch you have that fixes the problem.
17:47 tcohen in hte patch
17:47 tcohen it cant' deal with UTF chars
17:47 tcohen errrr
17:46 jcamins The fishsoup branch is much nicer anyway.
17:45 jcamins It didn't matter with the old version of bugzilla, but apparently it does now.
17:45 jcamins Yeah, that's out of date.
17:45 tcohen hmmm, was using slef's gitorious repo
17:44 jcamins git.koha-community.org/git-bz.git has a fishsoup branch, which works with the new version of bugzilla.
17:43 tcohen what where?
17:43 jcamins tcohen: use the fishsoup branch.

15:51 pianohacker I have at this point an hour-by-hour countdown to July 2nd at 10:30 AM, so these things are in very sharp focus :P
15:50 * jcamins does a happy dance.
15:50 jcamins Oh, it's only the 24th?
15:50 jcamins That's a good thing, because Google Reader is going to be gone in five days or so.
15:50 pianohacker Which is mainly good to make sure it won't die next Monday, but also for Google knowing a tiny bit less about me :P
15:49 jcamins Oh.
15:49 pianohacker oh. well. yes. But now it isn't dependent on google reader to back it
15:49 jcamins pianohacker: Really? I'd thought it was a proprietary system. Nice to know I was wrong.
15:47 pianohacker wooohah, feedly is now completely self-hosted

14:48 kf cool :)
14:47 nengard so now to try and do this with a big big file
14:47 nengard it did overlay
14:47 nengard and it worked
14:45 nengard kf - i used your method
14:44 huginn jcamins: The current temperature in Glendale, Glendale, New York is 31.0°C (10:35 AM EDT on June 24, 2013). Conditions: Clear. Humidity: 57%. Dew Point: 22.0°C. Pressure: 30.05 in 1018 hPa (Falling). Heat advisory in effect until 6 PM EDT Tuesday...
14:44 jcamins @wunder 11375
14:42 jcamins For what it's worth, I never use bulkmarcimport for anything with matching, because it's not designed for that.
14:42 kf i think in that case your match should be the field 020/022 not 1, but i haven't used that
14:41 nengard okay!
14:41 nengard http://perldoc.koha-community.org/misc/migration_tools/bulkmarcimport.html
14:41 kf we use the other 2 scripts
14:41 kf ah, never used that
14:41 kf the method I described is using the stage_file.pl and commit script
14:41 nengard thought we were still using the same file - it too had a --match value
14:40 nengard oh ... cause that's what i used to import them the first time
14:40 kf you should call stage_file.pl with your params :)
14:40 kf perl ~/kohaclone/misc/migration_tools/bulkmarcimport.-file /home/nengard/kohaclone/oss.mrc --match 1
14:40 kf hm nengard - why are you using bulkmarkimport?
14:27 pastebot "nengard" at 127.0.0.1 pasted "trying to match records on import via the command line with no luck ... ideas?" (24 lines) at http://paste.koha-community.org/80
14:16 nengard hehe
14:15 kf but i can garantee that it does work - because else all our libraries would be quite unhappy :)
14:15 kf then you will quickly see if it works and can still kick them out easily
14:15 kf i would just try it with 1-2 records
14:15 nengard :)
14:15 nengard :_
14:15 nengard nope, didn't want to screw anything up
14:14 kf have you tried it?
14:14 kf nengard: not totally sure - we are using it as cron, but my coworker takes care of setting this up
14:13 nengard perl ~/kohaclone/misc/migration_tools/bulkmarcimport.pl --match=1 -file /home/nengard/ol1.mrc
14:13 nengard or this:
14:13 nengard perl ~/kohaclone/misc/migration_tools/bulkmarcimport.pl --match 1 -file /home/nengard/ol1.mrc
14:13 nengard is this right?
14:13 jenkins_koha Starting build #1267 for job Koha_master (previous build: SUCCESS)

12:35 oleonard Hi tcohen_
12:33 tcohen_ morning #koha !
12:22 oleonard Hi #koha
11:49 marcelr ok
11:49 kf http://fishsoup.net/software/git-bz/
11:49 jcamins Yup.
11:48 kf i think that is because of the website of the original author
11:48 marcelr kf: thanks, it works again; why fishsoup btw?
11:36 * magnuse should do this more often...
11:35 magnuse ah, sorry forgot the -e
11:35 * jcamins isn't.
11:35 kf magnuse: you did -e and it didn't give you the lines?
11:35 kf because I can't right now
11:35 kf maybe someone could take a look?
11:33 jcamins At least, not expected by me.
11:32 magnuse gah
11:32 jcamins In that case, no, not expected.
11:32 magnuse jcamins: no, the old patch was not obsoleted automatically
11:31 jcamins Yes. It automatically obsoletes the patches.
11:31 huginn 04Bug http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=10379 minor, P5 - low, ---, robin, Signed Off , koha-rebuild-zebra gets noisy if no instances are defined
11:31 magnuse kf: i just signed off bug 10379 - should it be set to passed qa, since eythian wrote it for the packages?
11:30 * magnuse just used the fishsoup branch to attach a patch (which worked), but was not asked to obsolete old patches etc - is that to be expected?
11:18 * khall isn't really awake yet it seems.
11:17 magnuse hehe
11:17 khall lol, how'd I miss that! ; )
11:16 magnuse khall: read back about 5 lines ;-)
11:16 khall however, it appears that I cannot upload patchs with git bz. Is anyone else having this issue?
11:15 khall rangi: The diff link is back! Thanks!
11:11 kf i mean bugzilla got an update... and you will need a newer version of git bz too
11:10 kf git bz got an update and rangi fxed our branch for git bz
11:10 kf from the fishsoup branch in the koha repository
11:10 kf marcelr: make sure you have the newest git bz
11:07 marcelr something with an update?
11:05 marcelr anyone having problems with attaching a patch with git bz ?? i do at least.. ;)
11:02 kf that would be some heavy code and bugs
11:00 khall magnuse: that is a most terrifying thought ; )
10:54 magnuse better not take any chances - a screen avalanche is probably not a good thing to get buried under :-)
10:51 kf above the 6
10:51 kf maybe mount them on the wall
10:50 khall I think my current desk is barely supporting the six I've got!
10:49 magnuse of 12?
10:49 khall magnuse: I think my desk would collapse under the weight ; )
10:37 kf :P
10:37 kf noone has.... oh rght.
10:36 magnuse maybe not when you view it on 9 or 12 screens? ;-)
10:34 kf but doesn't it look the same as splinter?
10:33 rangi try that
10:31 khall thanks!
10:30 rangi ill look
10:30 khall rangi: can you check the version of PatchReader that is installed? Perhaps it's too old and that disabled the feature automatically
10:29 rangi there is nothing to enable
10:29 rangi i didnt disable it
10:29 khall rangi: do you think you could go in the bz administration and enable Patch Viewer?
10:28 khall it wasn't removed!
10:28 khall it's still in there
10:28 khall The feature is call "Patch Viewer" and it looks like it depends on the perl module PatchReader version 0.9.4
10:28 kf but it's not so bad as we stlil can see the patch fiel and have the splinter review for the colored diff :)
10:28 kf khall: I think as rangi didn't deactivate it it must be achange from the update
10:27 kf yay
10:27 * magnuse wanders off to lunch, and to look for any easy signoffs
10:26 rangi yes like kf said, bz update
10:26 khall rangi: ^
10:24 khall did you update it over the weekend?
10:24 khall : )=
10:24 rangi its running 4.4
10:24 rangi me
10:24 khall who hanldes the day to day administration of bugs.kc.org?
10:24 kf i dunno
10:23 khall kf: are you saying bugzilla removed it in a software update?
10:23 kf we got new nice features and they may have changed something else i guess
10:23 kf bz update :)
10:23 khall yeah, I guess if I choose "all files" is does, but that still doesn't explain why the diff link has disappeared!
10:23 * kf was going to suggest that :)
10:22 rangi just click all files
10:22 kf khall: what are you missing in splinter?
10:22 kf yep
10:22 rangi splinter does exactly that
10:22 khall rangi: yes, but I really like the side by side color coded layout of the bz diff viewer
10:22 rangi http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=16826
10:22 khall kf: the splinter review isn't nearly as nice to work with
10:22 rangi the patch is a diff
10:21 khall I use it constantly ; ) Everytime I submit a patch I check the diff
10:21 kf khall: the splinter review will show it
10:21 rangi just click on the link itself it shows you the patch, which is the diff
10:21 rangi i never ever used it
10:21 khall the patch only has a "details" link and a "splinter review" link now, no way to see the diff
10:21 rangi dunno
10:20 huginn 04Bug 10240: new feature, P5 - low, ---, jcamins, Signed Off , Offline circulation using HTML5 and IndexedDB
10:20 khall for example: http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=10240
10:20 khall yeah
10:20 kf :)
10:20 kf i think he means bugzilla
10:20 khall mornin kf ; )
10:20 rangi ?
10:19 khall i should say patch diffs that is
10:19 magnuse rangi: tee hee :-)
10:19 khall rangi: any idea why I can't view commit diffs on bugzilla anymore? was that function disabled for some reason?
10:18 drojf kf: yes, time for things is well hidden somewhere.
10:18 rangi magnuse: you typoed finish as finnish .. so i made some pun about you being norwegian
10:18 kf hi khall
10:17 khall morning all!
10:17 rangi yep finish
10:16 magnuse finnish/finish?
10:16 kf really really bad
10:16 rangi bad pun :)

10:15 rangi 21:49 < magnuse> i started testing it, but didn't have time to finnish,

07:58 eythian I know you will, wahanui.
07:57 wahanui I'll be waiting for you to come back, eythian.
07:57 eythian good night.
07:57 eythian OK, I'm done here. I'm going home.
07:57 eythian oh, cool. that's certainly worth cherrypicking across.

07:50 wahanui goodnight dcook. You'll be back.
07:50 dcook night all
07:50 dcook Have a good night. Maybe we can look at gitify tomorrow or the next day if we're lucky
07:50 dcook Haha. Thanks, cjh :)
07:50 cjh enjoy dinner.
07:49 cjh           happy birthday dcook! I got you a ++ dcook++
07:49 dcook Yep :)
07:49 cjh cya, ohhh your birthday?
07:49 dcook Birthday supper ^_^
07:49 dcook All right, I must run along now
07:49 cjh heh
07:48 dcook I'll grab a copy of "Eats, Shoots & Leaves" and we'll write something up ;)
07:48 christophe_c hi cjh
07:48 cjh hi christophe_c
07:48 christophe_c hello #koha
07:48 cjh and a big github 'welcome, here is what you need to do' thing is prettier and more user friendly.
07:48 cjh but currently it only has perldoc and it is poorly written :)
07:47 cjh yeah, just a single command to run.
07:47 cjh heh
07:47 dcook Iirc, it's pretty lightweight, isn't it?
07:47 dcook I can quiz you as I go, and we can write some improvements :)
07:47 * cjh still has to write better documentation for it
07:47 cjh :D
07:46 dcook Mhm, I like this idea
07:46 dcook So maybe once I get 3.12.01 up, I'll start using koha-gitify for my development at work
07:46 dcook But I did just set up a wheezy vm at work..
07:45 dcook Hmm...
07:45 dcook I think my partner would kill me if I developed at home
07:45 cjh heh
07:45 dcook Well, real-ish
07:45 cjh using it, like, for real?
07:45 dcook cjh: I'm totally thinking of actually using koha-gitify sometime soon...ish
07:45 dcook Speaking of starting things...
07:44 eythian I wouldn't want to start something I can't finish.
07:43 cjh glad you came through in the end though.
07:43 eythian cjh: I know! It was a close call!
07:43 cjh eythian: wow, you were almost wrong.
07:41 dcook Or not...:S
07:40 dcook Hmm, except I'm thinking now it wasn't Mozilla and that there might be an issue with the mail server..
07:39 eythian cool
07:38 dcook So I tried something else, and it's working pretty much exactly as I would like it to :)
07:38 dcook Thought about making a browser extension instead, but Mozilla never emailed me (or it got caught in some spam filter)
07:38 dcook Yeah, I was getting to a similar point today
07:38 dcook hehe
07:38 eythian was just about to hit "send" on a big writeup about why something isn't possible. Then worked out a really easy way to make it possible. That was close.
07:18 magnuse too true!
07:18 eythian magnuse: also they invariably look ugly.
07:18 wahanui hola, reiveune
07:18 reiveune hello
07:14 magnuse and of course having local clients is a major pain when it comes to upgrading!
07:13 magnuse yup
07:13 eythian yeah, I've heard some horror stories with other systems.
07:13 magnuse and eythian++ of course
07:12 magnuse       packages++
07:12 magnuse       liw++
07:12 magnuse some have a 2 day downtime for (major) upgrades with their old ils
07:12 dcook         eythian++
07:12 magnuse (that's a tribute to the packages of course, not related to my being lucky)
07:11 eythian heh
07:11 magnuse some of my customers are really impressed when i send out the monthly "upgrade starts now" email, and then 10 minutes later the "upgrade done" message :-)
07:10 eythian that's pretty nice.
07:10 dcook That's great, magnuse :)
07:09 * dcook needs to increase the "going in to koha" process list
07:09 magnuse i have been lucky to be able to run official packages for the last ~1 year, though
07:09 magnuse i know the feeling, in a small scale way
07:08 eythian magnuse: unfortunately no. Usually we have their patches in the "going in to koha" process, but sometimes they're silly specific customisations or weirdo template changes.
07:08 magnuse "sorry abuot that, but that is how it is now"
07:08 dcook hehe
07:08 magnuse "oh, someone changed something in koha so we can no longer run with customizations"
07:07 dcook eythian: Meeee too
07:07 magnuse can't you force them?
07:07 magnuse it certainly does
07:06 eythian wish we could run more people on plain stock Koha, it'd make things easier.
07:05 * magnuse will upgrade his customers to 3.12.1 pretty soon if things look ok with it
07:04 dcook Will have to look at installing 3.12.01 tomorrow on the new VM :)
07:03 wahanui well, gaetan_B is working at Biblibre and did the nice new start page together with asaurat or a fan of icons
07:03 dcook hey gaetan_B
07:03 gaetan_B hello
07:02 magnuse yay
07:02 dcook Fallback mode still looks pretty nice :p
07:01 magnuse ouch
07:01 dcook :(
07:01 dcook GNOME 3 Failed to Load. Unfortunately GNOME 3 failed to start properly and started in the fallback mode. This most likely means your system (graphics hardawre or driver) is not capable of delivering the full GNOME 3 experience.
07:00 magnuse hehe
06:59 dcook I've heard of a few Christmases here that were even too hot for that
06:58 eythian christmas is when you go to the beach and have a barbeque.
06:58 dcook Mmm, most definitely
06:58 eythian but christmas at winter is a silly idea.
06:57 dcook I was always a fan of summer birthdays
06:57 dcook It's weird having a winter birthday now though
06:57 dcook When it was our summer, your winter was a little colder...
06:57 dcook Relatively speaking, I suppose it's not so bad
06:56 magnuse our summer, your winter ;-)

03:25 cjh wizzyrea: living dangerously.
03:24 rangi its not just bad attachements, its anything you can change from that attachments.cgi page
03:23 eythian my other alternative is to wait until you get annoyed at tedious manual attaching and just do it anyway, I don't think I have any patches to attach for a while :)
03:21 wahanui http://i.imgur.com/p3cHE.gif
03:21 wizzyrea get the popcorn
03:21 rangi your volunteering then?
03:21 eythian s/use bugzilla/use git bz/
03:21 eythian I suspect though that the time saved by being able to use bugzilla overall is significant greater than the time spent cleaning up attachments due to the disabled token check.
03:20 rangi otherwise fixing git-bz seems a much better idea
03:19 rangi if someone promises to go clean up bugzilla if/when we get messed up with a malicious attachment ... i can comment that out again
03:18 rangi         >     check_token_data($token, 'create_attachment', 'index.cgi') if $token;
03:18 rangi ---
03:18 rangi         < #    check_token_data($token, 'create_attachment', 'index.cgi') if $token;
03:18 eythian could be a fun little project to learn both interacting with git and with bugzilla.
03:17 rangi im not super keen on doing that again
03:17 rangi i had to hack bugzilla to turn the token check off last major upgrade
03:16 rangi http://www.bugzilla.org/docs/4.4/en/html/api/Bugzilla/WebService/Bug.html#add_attachment <-- the current version
03:15 rangi http://www.bugzilla.org/docs/4.0/en/html/api/Bugzilla/WebService/Bug.html#add_attachment
03:15 eythian or it might be a simple enough fix to make sure we get the right token from somewhere and pass taht along
03:15 eythian because we should use them, if so.
03:15 eythian and they allow attachements?
03:14 rangi jsonrpc and xmlrpc
03:14 rangi 2
03:14 rangi yep
03:14 eythian isn't there an API for this sort of thing?
03:14 * jcamins will not submit any patches that aren't getting paid for specifically without git-bz.
03:13 rangi we were doing half arsed screen scraping crud anyway
03:13 rangi i can live with that :)
03:13 eythian it looks like there's some CSRF protection introduced that's upsetting things
03:12 eythian quite possibly
03:11 wizzyrea ohhh did the bugzilla upgrade break it?
03:11 eythian I get a big dump of information about being a suspicious person.
03:11 eythian is git-bz not working for anyone else?

02:52 tcohen I forgot to email you about that. sorry!
02:52 tcohen so packages for 3.12.1 are ready?
02:50 eythian hello
02:50 tcohen hi eythian
02:45 dcook Thanks for the info :)
02:45 dcook Cool beans
02:44 eythian dcook: well yes, but also /etc is considered special by dpkg
02:44 wizzyrea well anything in /etc/koha/sites/name
02:44 wizzyrea and koha-conf
02:43 dcook Which I suppose would probably just be the apache config in etc?
02:43 dcook So the package upgrade updates all the source code, but I suppose any other code/files generated through koha-create wouldn't be affected
02:39 eythian However, if you've changed something in /etc it won't undo your changes.
02:39 eythian I dunno, I don't think it does anything with plugins. There is a patch about this I need to look at.
02:38 dcook Would these packages fix that or does that need to be done manually?
02:38 eythian it'll be a little bit anti-climactic I'm afraid.
02:38 dcook I seem to remember there was something funny with the Plugin paths in the Apache config...
