This either or business is confusing..

21:35 drojf the sd card slot seems to be of bad quality. it got picky with some sd cards and in the end none worked. i had to glue a piece of plastic on top of it to press it into the slot

21:36 drojf it also involved recovering the partition table of the card because that got lost in the process of finding the problem. no idea why that happend. seems alright again now
