I've ran into this problem a couple times and now it appears to be happening on a somewhat regular basis for the SIP server code ( when calling C4::Circulation subs ) for us.

20:53 talljoy cait, just finished wrestling that install from 3.6 to 3.8 (git install) I see in 3.8 there is a system preference for using ICU. Do I need additional files on the server to support this or do I simply switch this on and hope for the best?
