01:08 CGI371 chris_n, wizzyrea: good evening. Have a question: is there a way to limit access in staff client for technical staff so that they won't go into Koha admin or global preferences?
01:10 jcamins_a CGI371: you can set permissions in the patron edit screen.
01:12 CGI371 ok but is patron the same place I would set staff permission as well?
01:14 CGI371 I would like to limit access to the admin part of Koha for the staff who are processing the records
01:15 jcamins_a Yes.
01:15 jcamins_a All users are edited in the "Patrons" section.
01:16 CGI371 thanks jcamins; I will test it out and get back if I encounter any problems. Good night from Antigua.
01:16 jcamins_a Good luck.
02:29 reva hi again jcamins_a: added a staff patrons and gave appropriate permissions to them. I am on the liblime demo.It seems to work ok. I have a question relating to the MARC Leader and Koha. It says in the Koha documentation that Koha has no need for the Leader. Now, is it going to be the new trend in New Generation ILS, no leader (MFHD is out!!)? Or would it be a kicker if we have to migrate in the future to another ILS?
02:33 reva Any takers for my question on MARC Leader and Koha and the trend in general in ILSs?
02:40 reva hello??
17:19 davi I have compiled konsole, well actually all kde base, without stripping binaries to allow debugging it
17:20 davi Besides compiling without striping should I load some symbols file in gdb to get all the info, or is it all included in the konsole binary /usr/bin/konsole ?
17:22 davi Note I do not find any '*konsole*' file to load in the packages: kdebase-dbg, kdebase-runtime-dbg, kdelibs5-dbg, libc6-dbg or libqt4-dbg.
17:22 davi Oops, worn channel
17:49 davi /usr/lib/debug/usr/bin/konsole
