14:11 schuster Looking for opinions... We have had instances mainly between 8-9 in the morning when the system is overloaded that items are not getting checked in. The librarians assure me they see ALL the titles come up on the screen. My only thought is that I'm having IO issues.

14:39 jdavidb schuster: I've got your koha-devel email in front of me, too. I would be really shocked if you were memory or CPU bound.
14:39 jdavidb Even as busy as you are, that memory/CPU pairing should be a-plenty.
14:41 jdavidb If you are IO bound, which is what I suspect, there are solutions, but none are quick flip-a-switch fixes. I don't remember your configuration that precisely, but I seem to remember lots of stuff getting put on one big filesystem.
14:43 jdavidb moving mysql's storage (usually /var/mysql) onto a separate drive or separate controller would possibly help. Moving Zebra away in a similar fashion may also be helpful.
14:45 jdavidb I don't know why an IO binding problem would cause data to not be getting updated, though; that's something really odd. An IO overload would make things *slow*, but it'd still work. Make sense?

20:15 sekjal -r is the older flag, and -reset is the current flag. I'm not sure why it changed; the documentation doesn't reflect it

21:21 schuster So I'll ask again. I have a Koha folder running 3.01.x and last night I pulled HEAD onto the same box into a kohaclone folder. When I launch Koha now it takes me to 3.01.
