Right now it looks to be much cheaper to fly to LA or San Francisco, stay overnight to ease my poor arthritic joints, THEN fly to NZ. A direct flight from the Washington area is hideously expensive and long, connecting in multiple places.

16:55 jwagner There was a nifty presentation at the API After Hours session (Sirsi conference a couple of years ago) about a web interface to Sirsi data with setups for predefined reports. I think staff could enter some parameters but the overall structure was set up in advance. Something like that might be useful for Koha.

16:47 jwagner schuster, you could do that now with a .sql file regardless of having it as an installer file. I've done a couple of direct .sql files (and screwed up a couple of others), but I try to leave that to the experts. But it can be done to insert one line into the saved_sql table.

If you define a parameter, it will be used by the system as a variable whenever you run the report. This should dramatically cut down on the number of individual reports you need to create, because you'll be able to 'fill in the blank' on the variable for similar reports prior to running the
