If you define a parameter, it will be used by the system as a variable whenever you run the report. This should dramatically cut down on the number of individual reports you need to create, because you'll be able to 'fill in the blank' on the variable for similar reports prior to running the

I think staff could enter some parameters but the overall structure was set up in advance. Something like that might be useful for Koha.
