12:48 magnuse ashimema et al, before i forget again: i was skimming through https://pinguinorodriguez.cl/blog/bundling-vendored-modules/ and wondered if bundling (some) dependencies with e.g. carton might be a viable approach for the dependency problems we have been having? this is kind of over my head, so just throwing the question out there...

20:37 magnuse sometimes i think it would be better if the database upgrades said "i am going to do x" before it started actually doing it. that way it would be easier to tell if no output is because it is working on some labour intensive task. as it is you sometimes wonder if you lost the connection or something...
