09:00 cait can you eat them witout?

11:40 wahanui hi oleopard
11:47 maya-april-19 hi, how can we generate koha sitemap and submit it to google? please help!
11:55 oleonard maya-april-19: If your Koha was installed using packages there is a command for that:
11:55 oleonard https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Commands_provided_by_the_Debian_packages#koha-sitemap
11:56 maya-april-19 oleonard - thanks :-)
11:58 oleonard AndrewIsh around?
12:29 AndrewIsh oleonard: Hello
12:29 wahanui hey, AndrewIsh
12:30 oleonard Hi, I had an ILL question I thought you might be able to answer
12:30 AndrewIsh I'll have a go
12:30 oleonard I was trying to figure out why the ILL page doesn't show a "Loading records" message while the DataTable is rendering, and it looks like it's because the AJAX call is done outside of the DataTables operation.
12:31 oleonard Do you know why it's done that way?
12:31 oleonard I believe other pages have the AJAX call inside DataTables code.
12:34 AndrewIsh oleonard: That pre-dates my involvement with it, so I don't know for certain I'm afraid. I would speculate that perhaps it didn't use datatables originally
12:35 AndrewIsh There's quite a lot of preparation of the data goes on prior to it being passed to the datatable, that could be the reason perhaps?
12:35 oleonard As far as I know it wouldn't strictly necessitate doing it that way, but I'm not an expert on AJAX-driven DataTables
12:36 oleonard Anyway, I was curious. Thanks!
12:37 AndrewIsh It's a good point though, it's a bit bemusing sitting there with an empty table while the AJAX call finishes, particularly as it's not the fastest. I'll add a bug to look into refactoring it to be inside the datatable object
12:38 oleonard The message could be added without refactoring if that's not practical
12:38 oleonard (just not using DataTable's built-in message)
12:38 AndrewIsh Yes, ideally we should be consistent with other datatable uses though
12:40 AndrewIsh Bug 22714
12:40 huginn` Bug http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=22714 enhancement, P5 - low, ---, koha-bugs, NEW , ILL table population call might benefit from being inside the datatable
12:40 oleonard I agree that it's disconcerting to see an empty table and wonder for a moment where they all went
12:40 AndrewIsh Indeed!
12:51 maya-april-19 oleonard /// how we can add robots.txt and where (in which directory) ?

18:29 wizzyrea cleanup and dog shaming
18:29 wizzyrea BAD DOG.
18:29 wizzyrea (i mean, dog's gonna dog. but still. Bad.)
18:30 corilynn ha, yeah, that's not something I would be able to do
18:30 wizzyrea I thanked the bunnies for their service and wished them well in bunny afterlife
18:30 corilynn ewww
18:30 wizzyrea I didn't know what else to do
18:32 wizzyrea hi cait
18:38 cait hi wizzyrea
18:38 cait fell asleep heh
18:38 cait it's very nice to see the nso queue come down
18:39 cait it was very due to a major clean-up
18:54 wizzyrea there are a lot of things in there that i've had to give the side eye
18:55 wizzyrea because i'm not wading in to some of that drama
18:56 oleonard Goodbye my dear Koha friends I shall count the hours until my return
18:56 wizzyrea no we shall count the hours til your return
18:57 wizzyrea man simply too many words I'd have gotten in if I'd just said "bye"
18:57 wizzyrea git rebase -i origin/master
18:57 wizzyrea oops
19:05 wizzyrea hrm how do you resolve this FAIL git manipulation
19:05 wizzyrea The file has been added and deleted in the same patchset
19:32 corilynn wizzyrea, I'm not sure who sent this to me... or if it applies
19:32 corilynn but I was recommended in a similar sitaution to do:
19:32 corilynn The syntax I like to use is 'git bz attach -e XXX HEAD^^^..HEAD'
19:32 corilynn Where XXX is the bug number and the count of ^^^ matches the number of patches
19:32 wahanui i already had it that way, corilynn.
19:33 corilynn something about reordering the patches
19:38 wizzyrea right, yeah I was just hoping there was an obvious way to do it
19:38 wizzyrea i mean I can probably rebase my way out of it but that seems like an awfully big hammer
19:38 wizzyrea (for someone else's patchset)
19:39 wizzyrea (I don't want to mess it up)
19:39 wizzyrea (it's different if it's my own.)
20:09 cait wizzyrea: squashing ht epatches if possible
20:10 cait it just means one patch adds it and another removes it, which is deemed to be potentially confusing
20:20 * caroline_catlady waves
20:21 * cait waves back
20:24 caroline_catlady cait, when cataloguing an old book, would you code the old country in 008? I have something and it says Czechoslovakia, should I put cs for Czechoslovakia or xr for Czech republic?
20:24 cait it's a good question - but i have to pass
20:25 cait my catalouging fu is not that stron
20:25 cait does the loc give any hint?
20:25 caroline_catlady it says Coded [cs] (Czechoslovakia) before May 1993
20:25 caroline_catlady not sure if that means if the book is from before may 93 or that it used to be that and now use xr
20:26 caroline_catlady Anyway, it's not life or death, I'll put xr
20:26 caroline_catlady Koha will probably like that better
20:27 cait hm I'd read it as 'country existed until'
20:29 caroline_catlady I read it in French on marc21.ca and it says what you understood
20:30 caroline_catlady the code cs for czechoslovakia was used until june 1993
20:34 cait Bookseller invoice no: *grumps*
20:34 caroline_catlady ?
