21:09 schuster OK outa here... My 9 year old has soccer practice and my 5 year old has flag football practice... Then GAMES abound tomorrow!
21:09 schuster In talking with them it is a java applet that would be dropped into the catalog...
21:08 schuster It's pretty cool - http://catalog.houstonlibrary.org/search~S0?/Xlightning+thief - select the 4th title down and then see all the Novel list content that comes across at the bottom
21:07 schuster Ok outa here! Thanks for a great week everyone! Anyone working with Novel List from Ebsco to embed content into your catalog? NovelList Select?
20:48 wizzyrea nengard around?
20:41 jcamins Have a good weekend, #koha (let's keep up the fiction that I won't spend much of my weekend working:)
20:41 jcamins And, with that revelation, it's time to close up shop.
20:40 jcamins We have a Subject-subdivision search!!!
20:39 jcamins We list the Bib-1 attributes and related prefixes, but there's a whole passel of indexes that aren't necessarily called for but are configured anyway.
20:39 chris ohh good idea
20:38 jcamins (I'm currently documenting search prefixes... I think I'll ask nengard about putting the list in the Manual, maybe as an appendix)
20:37 jcamins Koha/Zebra supports a rather staggering number of searches, doesn't it?
20:35 jcamins Morning.
20:35 hdl hi
20:35 brendan heh chris
20:35 brendan morning chirs
20:34 chris morning
20:34 munin brendan: The current temperature in Northwest Goleta, Goleta, California is 22.6C (1:33 PM PDT on September 10, 2010). Conditions: Clear. Humidity: 62%. Dew Point: 15.0C. Pressure: 29.98 in 1015.1 hPa (Steady).
20:34 brendan @wunder 93117
19:42 jcamins chris++ # He explains git so clearly that I can even understand it eventually
19:41 jcamins Whoops, it's git stash pop.
19:39 jcamins I guess it's too late to tell lculber to check the git commands before trying them.
19:38 lculber Thanks, jcamins. Sounds good.
19:38 jcamins Then you can use git stash before updating, update, and do git pop.
19:38 jcamins lculber: if you want to include something on every page, why not create a javascript file with what you want, and patch masthead.inc?
19:35 jcamins This is not related to lculber's question, but is there a reason for the completely irregular spelling of sysprefs?
19:35 lculber We are an archival institution and not a library so our needs are somewhat different. It would be some of both opacusers & intranetusers - mainly to interact with our other databases.
19:34 jcamins opacuserjs and intranetuserjs?
19:33 lculber I understand about the updates. We have a similar issue with our current vendor. The problem is that we have a lot of customizations I'd like to keep. If I can use jquery I can make it happen in prog
19:33 chris_n    no-git-problems++
19:33 jcamins (not trying to pry, just hoping maybe someone can help you find a way that won't cause problems with git)
19:33 chris_n most people use a little js witchery to do what they want I believe
19:32 chris_n that will make it nearly impossible to apply updates to the temples in later releases
19:32 jcamins lculber: what are you trying to do?
19:32 chris_n lculber: that is permissible, but not advisable
19:31 lculber I have a newbie question, that I hope folks won't mind: in the settings for the System preferences admin/StaffClient preferences/template setting is it okay for me to set up my own subdirectory and use those instead of prog? I'm hoping that's why it is there.
19:31 munin chris_n: The operation succeeded.
19:31 chris_n @later tell owen I'm working on adding RFC822 date formatting to C4::Dates... maybe it will be done by early next week as time permits
19:14 sekjal and then there's the issue of potentially backfilling the NULL branch fields in statistics...
19:13 sekjal the fix for Self Checkout is pretty straightforward, I think, but deciding what to do with OPAC renewals will take a little thought
19:12 munin 04Bug http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=5199 enhancement, P5, ---, kyle.m.hall, NEW, Renewals do not add branchcode to statistics table
19:12 sekjal looking at bug 5199
19:01 sekjal yeah, not looking forward to dealing with that, but that's the price, I suppose
19:01 owen Once again we'll be playing catch-up with Amazon API changes. I guess that's the cost of our free lunch
18:57 sekjal not in depth yet
18:56 owen sekjal: Have you looked into the Amazon API changes with regard to customer reviews?
18:50 sekjal ~cheers
18:50 sekjal cheer, yhager!
18:50 yhager anyway, gotta go now. See you guys later in this channel. Thanks!
18:49 yhager I have managed to remove apache completely from my server (running wordpress and drupal). Now let's see if I can do it for koha too :)
18:47 sekjal yhager: sounds good. I've been interested in getting nginx working, but haven't had as much time to play lately
18:46 yhager maybe I'll revert to installing apache behind nginx, and configure it the most common way for start. I am very new to koha, and want to make it work first, then remove apache from the stack :)
18:45 yhager ah! :)
18:45 yhager sekjal: thx. I don't see these files in the download tarball - is it safe to use the git version for testing?
18:45 sekjal that's chris's repo, and I think that's the branch he's using to work on nginx
18:44 sekjal yhager: try looking at http://git.workbuffer.org/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?p=koha.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/nginx
18:42 yhager ok, thx. I wonder if chris has his nginx config file available somewhere
18:41 owen Yes
18:41 yhager owen: so all community activity is related to koha-community.org?
18:39 owen There is only one Koha, and the official web site is koha-community.org. Koha.org is owned by a company which does not support open source Koha.
18:39 yhager owen: thanks. I read about koha on wikipedia and decided to focus on koha-community. How different are they? how can I ensure I am reading discussions/docs of the correct one?
18:34 owen yhager: Some mentions: http://www.mail-archive.com/koha-devel@lists.koha.org/msg03828.html
18:29 yhager Can koha work with nginx?
17:53 sekjal anyone up for some brainstorming about fixing Accounts?
17:10 francharb actually, i can wait monday and i'm sure record matching rules wont be long a mystery... ;)
17:06 francharb well...
17:03 francharb i'm not sure to really get what is the link between matchpoints and match checks
17:03 francharb is there anyone who can help me with the record matching rules?
17:02 francharb hi all
16:59 jcamins_a So long, #koha
16:59 jcamins Just me. :)
16:59 jcamins Not Koha.
16:59 jcamins Bye.
16:59 jcamins Yes, I have a meeting.
16:58 cait meeting?
16:57 wizzyrea aha, will fix thx
16:57 jcamins Meeting time!
16:57 jcamins wizzyrea: typo in the About page: (last paragraph) "libraries are free to install and use Koha themselves if the*y* have the in-house expertise.
16:55 jcamins Wow, IE 7 was released more than four years ago.
16:53 jcamins Hello.
16:53 cait hi all
16:52 owen Yeah, definitely not 6
16:52 wizzyrea :P
16:52 wizzyrea because nobody should use 6
16:52 wizzyrea 7, probably
16:51 jcamins While we're at it, what's the earliest version of IE that plays nicely with Koha?
16:47 jcamins Yeah, I guess it wouldn't be comment-worthy if I used MS Word regularly.
16:47 owen MS Word's auto-[anything] function is so weird
16:47 jcamins You type a hyperlink, it adds a space. You try to delete the space, it undoes everything you've typed since the last save. You add a period, hit the back key, and try to delete the space, and the hyperlink and period go away.
16:46 jcamins MS Word's auto-hyperlink function is so weird.
16:45 wizzyrea it's actually a pretty good story.
16:45 * jcamins hasn't even heard of Hunger games.
16:44 wizzyrea and I have actually read the first one of those.
16:44 wizzyrea since that's the new hotness.
16:44 wizzyrea maybe I should change my default search to "hunger games"
16:44 * wizzyrea hasn't seen or read any of the books.
16:44 * wizzyrea readies her trout for slapping
16:43 * owen knows wizzyrea's "good reasons" include "Edward is dreamy!"
16:42 wizzyrea ;)
16:42 wizzyrea there are good reasons to use that. ;0
16:42 wizzyrea and don't laugh about my search.
16:42 wizzyrea if you need proof
16:42 wizzyrea http://screencast.com/t/MjJjZDJkN2Ut
16:40 wizzyrea and in Safari 5, the opac looks lovely
16:40 owen No, that sounds great sekjal
16:40 wizzyrea it didn't work at all.
16:40 wizzyrea I used it, it was terrible
16:39 sekjal owen: going to submit your fix as a patch with my signoff, and credit to you in the commit message. Unless you'd prefer to send the patch yourself
16:39 * owen came to Macs too late to have ever used it
16:39 owen Here, for all of you who want to rush out and install Safari 1: http://mac.oldapps.com/safari.php?old_safari=1
16:39 jcamins Yeah, that's my top choice, but if installing FF is judged impossible, I'll be ready with a Safari-based counter-offer. :)
16:38 wizzyrea :P
16:38 wizzyrea of course
16:38 wizzyrea to him, not you
16:38 wizzyrea ;)
16:38 wizzyrea even better, quit yer bitchin and put on firefox
16:38 wizzyrea so yea, tell him "the latest version, lazy."
16:38 jcamins None of it.
16:38 jcamins owen: _that_'s easy.
16:37 jcamins I was surprised when I learned that Safari was up to 5.
16:37 owen Ask him what part of the web *does* work with Safari 1.3 ?!
16:37 wizzyrea I'm frankly amazed that works at all.
16:37 wizzyrea i'm so astounded I can't type correctly.
16:37 jcamins Yes.
16:37 owen 1.3 ?!
16:37 wizzyrea you ahve safari 1!!!
16:37 wizzyrea !!!
16:37 jcamins Just not all of it.
16:37 owen jcamins: It's certainly known to work in the last couple of versions, so I guess 5.0.1 ?
16:37 jcamins Well, no, it does.
16:37 jcamins We have Safari 1.3 right now, and the OPAC doesn't work.
16:37 jcamins I'm not quite sure that's the word I'd use.
16:36 wizzyrea ...wow. jcamins do you have an overzealous IT guy?
16:36 jcamins owen: so I can tell our IT guy what version of Safari he would need to install if he wants us to use Safari.
16:35 wizzyrea ooh neat
16:35 sekjal fixes other -home pages, as well
16:34 sekjal owen: it works!
16:34 owen jcamins: Why do you ask?
16:33 jcamins What versions of Safari are believed to properly display the OPAC?
16:32 owen "if($("#header_search #catalog_search").length..."
16:32 owen In staff-global.js, move "$(".focus").focus(); right after the line which starts
16:31 owen sekjal: Try this and see if it fixes it for you too:
16:31 wizzyrea woot, the graphics are in the fr and es manuals now. And no nengard to squee with me.
16:30 sekjal nice
16:30 owen Yup. I got it working :)
16:29 owen Perhaps it's another situation where the jquery is firing too soon...
16:27 owen jQuery looks for any element with a "focus" class and puts the focus there.
16:24 sekjal is it that the 'focus' is being assigned as a class in the CSS, not through Javascript?
16:22 sekjal hmmmm
16:21 owen so it's not a conflict between those two things I don't think
16:21 owen I have that turned off and the focus still doesn't work for me
16:20 owen sekjal: "yui-ac-input" I'm assuming is related to circ autocomplete
16:17 jcamins owen: Really? I guess I missed the trauma by less than a month.
16:16 owen It's been one year since Joshua Ferraro said "All of LibLime's sponsored development will be contributed to the community as Open Source."
16:16 owen Oh, by the way, happy first birthday Liblime Enterprise Koha!
16:13 sekjal actually, finding missing focus on a lot of the staff client 'home' pages
16:11 sekjal it's "focus yui-ac-input"
16:10 sekjal yeah... something to do with the YUI JS? the class seems to be more than just 'focus'
16:02 owen that's a strange one sekjal... According to the markup the focus should be happening
16:00 munin 04Bug http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=5125 trivial, P5, ---, kyle.m.hall, NEW, Cursor default location on circulation-home.pl
16:00 sekjal this is reminding me of bug 5125 (though that's for the staff side)
16:00 jwagner It seems like that would be a useful thing to do -- when someone comes into the OPAC, they probably want to do a search right away.
16:00 owen There's no automatic focus on the OPAC home page
15:59 wizzyrea (which I think it probably does)
15:59 wizzyrea depends on whether it makes sense to focus that text entry box over the username box
15:59 jwagner Is there any reason that the focus couldn't/shouldn't be set in the code?
15:58 jcamins jwagner++ # for asking cool questions
15:58 jwagner owen, thanks -- that worked. I was making it too complicated.
15:57 owen       $("#transl1").focus();
15:57 wizzyrea err, scrollback fail.
15:56 wizzyrea or input[name='q']
15:55 jwagner I think that's one of the variants I tried, but will try again.
15:55 wizzyrea )
15:55 wizzyrea (didn't try that
15:54 wizzyrea maybe instead of #transl1 input[id='transl1']
15:53 wizzyrea derr, of course they are
15:53 wizzyrea nm, hehe, they're all the same
15:52 jwagner Sorry, wasn't sure who you were talking to. The main OPAC page -- the search box in the masthead
15:52 wizzyrea jwagner?
15:52 wizzyrea hm, which page are you on?
15:52 nengard i thought you meant "ack" as in "ick" :)
15:51 davi = ok
15:51 davi acknowledgement
15:51 nengard ?
15:51 davi ack
15:51 nengard davi it is - what's missing though is the names of the translators which aren't printing but are in the code
15:49 davi nengard, slef suggested I ask: is the copyright statement on http://koha-community.org/documentation/3-2-manual-es/ accurate?
15:49 jwagner    Here's the last variation I tried -- any suggestions? $("#transl1 input[name=q]:eq(0)").focus();
15:49 wizzyrea :) that's fair
15:49 jwagner wizzyrea, question for you (or maybe owen). You have an entry on the jquery sample page for "Adds Focus to Cataloging Search" -- I'm trying to do something similar for the OPAC masthead search box, but can't get the syntax right.
15:49 jcamins I don't spend much time on the home page, though.
15:48 jcamins I think they're pretty cool, although I hadn't actually noticed them before you pointed them out just now.
15:48 wizzyrea I'm just curious (I do like them, fwiw)
15:48 wizzyrea do people like having the recent commits on the home page of koha-community?
15:47 wizzyrea Aha
15:47 jcamins No, I'm trying to give the correct attribution for the quote in our hit-by-a-bus site manual.
15:47 wizzyrea I can do that kind of stuff
15:47 wizzyrea is there a typo or something you would like added or removed?
15:46 wizzyrea among others
15:46 wizzyrea chris did, I believe
15:46 wizzyrea Nope
15:46 jcamins wizzyrea: did you write the About page on koha-community.org?
15:46 nengard wizzyrea - what question?
15:45 wizzyrea speaking of nengard, can you speak to davi's question on the copyright statements on the manual/
15:45 wizzyrea aha
15:44 schuster I did but nengard was here... it was about the offline circ tool with FF plugin.
15:44 sekjal jwagner: are you thinking of the JQuery tablesort on the Circ page slowing things down?
15:44 wizzyrea schuster: did you have a question for me?
15:44 jwagner owen, I could swear it was discussed here recently (within the past month) -- I think it was in connection with the table sorting.
15:43 schuster I see the offline circ stuff is slated in the 3.4 RFC's...
15:42 owen jwagner: I'm not aware of any FF javascript problems
15:41 jwagner jcamins, I'll think about doing a patch :-)
15:40 jwagner Just speculating. I thought I remembered discussion here about FF Javascript problems.
15:40 munin 04Bug http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=5158 enhancement, P5, ---, camins, ASSIGNED, Koha needs its own cookie, ice cream, and fudge flavors
15:40 jcamins jwagner: I was just thinking about you. You forgot to attach a recipe to bug 5158. ;)
15:40 owen jwagner: Do you have a reference for that?
15:39 jwagner Since it uses Javascript, and since I think I remember hearing the current version of FF has some JS problems, wonder if that's it?
15:36 schuster Less install stuff than Kyles.
15:36 schuster Thanks - I'm on an older version of FF and it looks different than the documentation and doesn't have the same buttons etc.. Just thought that was a cool tool if it would work.
15:35 nengard when i try it crashes FF
15:35 munin 04Bug http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=4039 major, P5, ---, gmcharlt, NEW, Firefox plugin not working with Koha 3.2 and FF 3.6+
15:35 nengard bug 4039
15:34 nengard there is a bug report for that
15:34 nengard it does not work in the most recent version of FF
15:34 nengard nengard got that documentation from someone else
15:34 schuster anyone test the firefox offline plugin? seems I had heard it wasn't working, but it is well documented by nengard...:)
15:32 nengard wizzyrea or gmcharlt i think
15:32 jcamins (trying to make sure I have the right attribution)
15:31 jcamins Did wizzyrea write the about page?
15:29 jcamins The license should probably be noted somewhere prominent, as with the wiki.
15:26 nengard jcamins i think the site is creative commons ... but i'd have to find where it says that
15:25 jcamins Or, really, anything that would permit me to quote the entire page in my hit-by-a-bus site manual.
15:25 jcamins Or GFDL.
15:20 jcamins Is the About page on koha-community.org licensed under Creative Commons?
15:13 jcamins Do other people have hit-by-a-bus documentation for managing Koha? If so, would anyone be willing to share your table of contents with me?
15:06 wizzyrea re the copyright that is the copyright statement that came with the document
15:06 owen We had to say your name three times for it to work!
15:05 wizzyrea wasn't about 3 minutes ago
15:05 wizzyrea I am now anyway
15:05 wizzyrea yes I am :P
15:05 owen Hey everyone talking to wizzyrea: she's not here! :(
15:01 davi wizzyrea, slef suggested I ask: is the copyright statement on http://koha-community.org/documentation/3-2-manual-es/ accurate?
15:00 jcamins FAQ!
14:52 jcamins Website, manual, wiki, bugzilla, mailing lists, IRC... am I missing anything?
14:52 jcamins If you are writing site documentation which needs to introduce people to Koha, what resources do they need to be aware of?
14:49 schuster wizzyrea! question for ya!
14:24 jcamins I think this was just discussed recently, but the mailing list page is kind of confusing. It's not obvious where the link to the main mailing list is.
13:17 owen Sure thing
13:17 sekjal owen: thanks for fixing my tablesort in circ patch
13:16 sekjal morning, owen!
13:16 owen Hi jcamins, sekjal
13:06 jcamins Good morning.
12:30 Braedon only 33 minutes spent
12:30 Braedon technically so does braedon
12:30 owen A fresh new day stretching before him.
12:29 Braedon what has owen got?
12:29 Braedon despite an obvious need
12:29 Braedon a lack of will to sleep
12:28 owen So whatcha got #koha?
11:45 nengard on the plus side - no more crutches!!!
11:45 nengard heading to the doc to find out if the crutches really did anything
11:45 nengard scary morning here ....
11:37 jwagner Hi kf
11:35 kf hi jwagner
11:23 OpenUser thanks., I'll look at that, I assume there is a biblionum variable in there that I can pass an array into......I shall soon find out.....thanks
11:21 hdl OpenUser: it uses BiblioAddAuthorities in cataloguing/addbiblio.pl
11:18 OpenUser Good chance nobody is here but I just noticed that if I go into a bib record and make NO changes and just click Save, the authority get added automatically. Now to figure out what that Save is doing and write a script for it!
10:05 OpenUser thanks...I did think of exporting and then reimporting....thanks anyway
10:04 kf sorry, lunch, coworkers waiting, bbl
10:04 kf perhapbs you could generate authorities from your bibliographic data and import them into koha, try to link them afterwards?
10:04 kf not sure how to solve your migration problem :(
10:03 kf there is one sys pref for addings authorities on the fly
10:03 kf if the authorities work fine for new bibs your settings are probably correct
10:01 OpenUser Yes, sorry to confuse things. The Authorities are working fine with new bibs......I have check syspref.....anything I should be particualry looking out for?
09:59 kf have you checked your authorities settings in system preferences?
09:58 kf I thought you said the authorities were working for newly added bibs?
09:58 kf the index problem
09:56 OpenUser Thanks....but do you mean the problem I am having with adding authorities after adding bibs or do you mean fix the problem I fixed in AuthoritiesMarc.pm?
09:55 kf ah ok, so hdl will perhaps know if its fixed now, I have no 3.0.x installations to check :(
09:54 OpenUser 3.06
09:54 kf OpenUser: which version of Koha are u using?
09:54 kf OpenUser: not it's a different problem, wishful thinking on my side perhaps :)
09:53 OpenUser Not sure this is the problem I had. the problem I had was realated to a "Heading-Main" headnig in the AuthoritiesMarc.pm file
09:52 kf works for me, strange
09:52 kf the git link?
09:51 hdl mmm your link is not working for me : Erreur d'analyse XML
09:51 kf I only read the commit line
09:51 kf so perhaps the bug is still there
09:51 kf yep, you are right
09:50 hdl mmm looks like a different problem
09:50 OpenUser Just checking it now.....
09:50 kf hm perhaps a different problem, not sure
09:50 munin 04Bug http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=5046 normal, PATCH-Sent, ---, robin, RESOLVED FIXED, Zebra authorities template has the wrong locations
09:50 kf bug 5046
09:50 kf hdl: http://git.koha-community.org/gitweb/?p=koha.git;a=commit;h=a1616127bdcfd7d765d7f73cce54cae5609e3a7f
09:49 kf hdl: one of the recent commits to master, let me check
09:49 hdl kf bug # ?
09:43 OpenUser umm, I fixed it by changing a line in AuthoritiesMarc.pm - I thought I found a bug for this listed on the bug site
09:40 kf I think this is fixed in head now
09:40 hdl indexes in zebra iirc rather
09:39 OpenUser yep, in AuthoritiesMarc.pm IRRC
09:39 hdl ah... bug of the definition of marc21 authorities.
09:38 OpenUser hdl: I fixed a problem with the search of authorities, I wasn't able to search for any
09:38 OpenUser magnus: Yep, I have the Authorities auto creating on the fly, its creating the one for the ones not on the fly (already there) that's the problem!
09:37 hdl OpenUser: what have you fixed ?
09:36 magnus OpenUser: you can make koha create authorities from bibs: http://koha-community.org/documentation/3-2-manual/index.php?ch=c19#AEN207 but the question is if there is a script that can do it as a batch job...
09:36 OpenUser Thanks.....still learning! not sure if you saw what I typed then, here it is again. magnus:the problem with that script is that the auth_heading table is empty so there is nothing to link to !!! Thanks anyway!
09:36 magnus OpenUser: just the name will do ;-)
09:35 OpenUser my head is going to burst!! I shouldn't have used the "AT" symbol then...no!
09:34 kf magnus: will work :)
09:33 munin OpenUser: Error: "magnus" is not a valid command.
09:33 OpenUser @magnus -> the problem with that script is that the auth_heading table is empty so there is nothing to link to !!! Thanks anyway!
09:31 OpenUser Yeah....the on the fly part is now working for auths going forward. But I have 4500 bibs in there already.....in our old library system the auths could be build from the bibs......but this doesn't look possible with Koha
09:30 kf OpenUser: koha can create auth records on the fly afaik - but I think this will not work for bulk marc import
09:28 * magnus has no practical experience with authorities
09:27 magnus could be this one: http://git.koha-community.org/gitweb/?p=koha.git;a=blob;f=misc/link_bibs_to_authorities.pl;hb=HEAD
09:27 OpenUser Right....turns out we didn't load authorities just bibs. Should this script create auths from the existing bibs? Any idea where it might be?
09:22 kf our library's date comes from an union catalog and we already have those numbers in $9, so the linking works out of the box
09:22 kf but I have never used it
09:22 kf I think there is a script to do such linkings for migrated data
09:21 kf koha writes the number in $9 and you can see at the authority records how many titles are linked to it
09:21 kf that's why it works for your newly added records
09:21 kf koha links authorities by an id number in $9 fields
09:21 kf OpenUser: I am not sure what this does, but I know the reason for your problem
09:17 OpenUser anyone know what this does? Will it clear and readd authorities? zebraidx -c /etc/koha/zebradb/zebra-authorities-dom.cfg -g iso2709 -d authorities init
09:14 OpenUser Not only the link isn't working but any authority search isn't working
09:13 OpenUser Yes, pretty much. It will only work with authorities we add since I fix then problem, and reindexed
09:10 kf and the linking is not working?
09:10 kf you imported bib and authority records?
09:10 kf waht do you mean by not working?
08:58 OpenUser Thanks.. I built a 3.06 system and the authorities weren't working. We imported about 4500 bibs and then I fixed the Authorites. However, it only works for auths I add from now, not with the auths already there?
08:52 jmb ok thx have a nice day, by
08:51 kf jmb: I would suggest you describe your steps and check the error log
08:51 kf jmb: not sure your problem is related, the bug is about migration of data from the old acq module to the new table structures
08:50 kf OpenUser: ask your question, if someone has an idea they will answer
08:50 munin 04Bug http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=4972 blocker, PATCH-Sent, ---, henridamien, NEW, updatedatebase fails to create aqbasketgroups and aqcontract
08:50 kf bug 4972
08:47 OpenUser Is there anyone around that might help me with an odd (at least to me!) authority problem?
08:37 jmb it looks like the 4972 bug but not for upgrade from 3.0x to3.2, does anybody have the same problem ?
08:10 kf I think the basket groups should work without an acq framework
08:09 jmb just a default framework. is it important to have an acqframework ?
08:03 jmb no
08:03 hdl jmb: do you have an ACQ framework ?
08:01 jmb it is not saved in php aqbasketgroup
07:56 jmb i noticed : when a user creates a basket, then he can create a "purchase order" but the admin of acq can't succeed in saving the basketgroup
07:54 jmb i dont know how to see the log
07:52 jmb it is not an upgrade but install of 3.2
07:52 hdl jmb: is there a warning in koha-error_log ?
07:51 kf jmb: I successfully created basket groups in 3.2 - but installed from head, not updated from 3.0.x - what were your steps?
07:51 magnus hi kf
07:50 kf hi magnus
07:50 jmb i don't succeed in creating a basketgroup in 3.2 beta : it disappears when when i try to save it. i can't find this bug in bugzilla exept when upgrading from 3.0 to 3.2
07:50 hdl hi
07:49 magnus hi jmb
07:46 jmb hi,
