08:37 cait2 Joubu: do you have a moment to give bug 25598 a quick check on master?
08:37 huginn Bug http://bugs.koha-community.org[…]_bug.cgi?id=25598 critical, P5 - low, ---, koha-bugs, NEW , Translated bibliographic framework blocked advanced editor

08:47 Joubu cait2: it says "default bibliographic framework is translated", then "tested with en"?
09:31 magnuse soo, i'm using "CONCAT(ExtractValue(`marcxml`,'//datafield[@tag="100"]/*')) AS main_heading" to make a custom list of authorities. but the sorting is off, sorting Ã… before A. if it came from a column i would change the collation, but what to do when the strings come from XML via ExtractValue?

10:19 mariahedberg Hi all! To be able to give the paid fines to the owning library, even if the item is removed, we are going to add a new column "old_itemnumber" to the accountlines table, and copy the value from itemnumber to old_itemnumber when the item is removed. Is anyone else interested in this addition?
10:20 cait2 hi mariahedberg :)
10:20 cait2 mariahedberg: i think so, let me find the bug!
10:21 cait2 bug 24865
10:21 huginn Bug http://bugs.koha-community.org[…]_bug.cgi?id=24865 enhancement, P5 - low, ---, koha-bugs, NEW , Customize the Accountlines Description
10:21 mariahedberg Hi cait2 :) Are you saying there is one already, aha :)
10:21 cait2 it reads a bit different from the description, but the main issue was old items
10:21 cait2 um deleteditems
10:21 mariahedberg fine.
10:21 cait2 you might want to check with Joubu... there is alsomovement to merge tables
10:22 cait2 bug 20271
10:22 huginn Bug http://bugs.koha-community.org[…]_bug.cgi?id=20271 major, P1 - high, ---, jonathan.druart, Needs Signoff , Merge deleted biblio, biblioitems, biblio_metadata, and items tables
10:22 mariahedberg Merge items and deleteditems?
10:22 cait2 yes
10:22 mariahedberg I see, that makes a difference of course.
10:22 cait2 it will require tons of testing, but it's been around as a patch set for a bit and there might be movement once we get 20.05 out
10:23 mariahedberg Allright, I have to see how to start on this. It got more difficult now :D
10:24 cait2 doesn't it always?
10:24 mariahedberg Thank you very much for getting me this info!
10:24 mariahedberg Yes...
10:24 cait2 sure! as you see I had just commented on the accountlines bug
10:25 mariahedberg Yes.
10:25 mariahedberg Ok, see you!

14:15 tuxayo I see, then double check that the specific perl version number are gone, I'll try that.

22:55 tcohen hi mtj, nice work. We've had a national holiday today, I'll be in tomorrow and can help with packaging if you need that. My main goal was to generate the pipeline so we test packaging in many ways. But it feels like a good chance to rethink a buch of things (after the release of  course). I like dcook's use of debuild, if we are using some container environment.
22:56 mtj hi tcohen, agreed ^ :)
22:57 tcohen I like the idea of automating the package builds
22:57 tcohen into a staging repo.
22:57 tcohen We can then take those packages to try things
22:57 tcohen and ultimately, the rmaints or the packaging manager can
22:58 tcohen finally sign the packages and promote them for general availability
22:58 tcohen there's been a bunch of patches touching debian installer bits
22:58 tcohen for which we could have regression tests in such schema
22:59 tcohen the idea is to work less, and that anyone can take a look
22:59 tcohen at what's goign on
22:59 tuxayo ++
22:59 mtj it would be useful to get the koha test-suite running on each new package
23:01 tuxayo mtj: you mean on the installed result? Because the continuous integration should already cover the commit that is packaged
23:04 mtj run the test-suite on a fresh docker/vm with freshly installed packages and deps - for each deb/ubuntu version
23:06 tcohen the problem is the tests are shipped by the packages
23:06 tuxayo I see, so run the tests on a package installation instead of gittified installation. (IIUC this gittified thing ^^)
23:06 tcohen so it needs to be some gitified install, just as koha-testing-docker does
23:06 tcohen left #koha
23:11 mtj aaah, the tests seem to be *not* included in the packages - i didnt know that
23:16 mtj ...hmm, it should be possible to grab the test-suite dirs from the git repo
23:20 mtj hi tuxayo, you were looking for me before?
23:26 tuxayo «the tests seem to be not included in the packages - i didnt know that»
23:26 tuxayo That would require a lot more dependencies I guess.
23:27 tuxayo mtj: I didn't know how to signoff one of your recent patches
23:27 tuxayo but since then, someone with more knowledge did it without additional instructions.
23:30 tuxayo Packaging was and is still way out of my comfort/competence zone. I don't remember the specific bug
23:30 mtj ah, was the list-deps patch, thanks for taking a look
23:30 tuxayo lately I feel like running often into walls when trying to sign off.
23:30 tuxayo Before-release-bugs are tough to test ^^"
23:31 mtj yeah... it can be tricky to get your test system in the correct state to test
23:32 Marie-Luce Hi everyone
23:32 Marie-Luce I've bump into a problem, that I'm not sure how to fix. I was wondering if someone could help
23:34 Marie-Luce I've played around with MARC framework. I've set up matching rules for stage MARC import
23:34 Marie-Luce I've refreshed my record with my terminal but I've got an error message telling me this:
23:35 Marie-Luce Use of uninitialized value $tag in hash element at /usr/share/perl5/MARC/Record.pm line 202
23:35 Marie-Luce what does it mean?
23:35 cait what did you play arond with?
23:36 cait does the marc bibliographic framework test come back clean?
23:36 Marie-Luce yes the marc test is cleaned
23:38 Marie-Luce I've created new framework from a file
23:40 cait i think it's related to an issuewith the framework somehow, but not sure hwat it could be
23:40 tuxayo Marie-Luce: On which version of Koha are you?
23:40 Marie-Luce 19.05
23:45 Marie-Luce I may have changed a tag label for the intranet and OPAC display
23:46 cait hm that shoudl not be it
23:46 cait which format did you use for loading the framework?
23:46 Marie-Luce .ods
23:47 cait hm you oculd maybe count the tags and subfields in db for the framework and compare to see if ti all loaded
23:48 inlibro joined #koha
23:48 Marie-Luce I think we are using XSLT style sheet
23:49 Marie-Luce could it be a conflict between the XSLT and the framework?
